clean, good location right next to the bund, but a bit far from public transport. Rooms are tiny in accordance with the nautic theme. More of a hotel feeling than a hostel. Would stay there again.

It seemed more like a cheap Chinese business hotel than a hostel, complete with businessmen and their ..erm..secretaries and staff with little English. It is in a good location and is cheap, so if you don't care about atmosphere and don't need a lot of help from staff, it's reasonable value.

was good hostel, except that air conditioner does not cover the whole area. but apart from that i felt like its a 3 star hotel, comfortable, yet affordable. great staff, was good. and you need to do food delivery not only in the mornings, but 24/7 :)

No wifi in the rooms - there was an ether net cable, but many devices don't have an ether net port (like ipad) so we had to go to the lobby. Breakfast ended at 9, which is too early for those of us on vacation, especially as the Cafe/restaurant was closed for renovations.

this hostel has a great location, it's very close to the main sightseeing points (1 min to the Bund, 15 min to Nanjinglu, 10 min to Yuyuan), our room was being cleaned every day, we had an air conditioner, and as we didn't take our laptops, it was very comfortable to use computers with free internet on the first floor.
