Carahue Hostel Adventure Reviews

Having stayed at Hostel Carahue on 5 occasions, I would throroughly recommend it. The staff are excellent and create a very welcoming atmosphere. There is a good variety of guests, from single travellers to groups to families, from teenagers to retirees, all from a great mixture of countries and backgrounds. It is a very relaxing hostel but also there is a chance to socialise and often the hosts organise a bbq or other meal. Plenty of activities available to book. Close to shops and bus station.

This hostel has a lot of great character and great staff, however the beds are a little nasty and the sheets don't stay on the beds.

I really liked the place because it made me feel at home very quickly. The staff is really friendly and they organise dinner for and with the guests. They also have great ideas about where to go and what to do. The place itself is nice and cosy and I would go back there anytime!

typical hostel, except for the fact that the workers never went home, and one of them was hanging out with a pair of gentleman that were clearly not staying at the hostel all day and night, partying, and this made me a little uncomfortable. I could not go in the pool because these older creepy gentleman were in it - and at night they were looking at pictures of girls on the internet. however the worker Gabby in the mornings was awesome!
