this is not an hostel but a cheep pension with old furniture, not cleaned at all and poor hygienically conditions.

It is what it is. Cheap option right in the heart of Lagos. Don't expect the Ritz, but it is not a dark hole either.

Horrible smell from sewerage plumbing in the room.

The hostel was lovely. The owners were lovely. Just enjoyed our time there.

Great hostel in the most amazing location! This hostel really blends in well with the culture of the city. Cheap, great staff and an amazing location - definitely stay at Caravela House if you visit Lagos :) Thank you to all of the wonderful staff who were very helpful throughout our entire visit!

Lovely hostel in a perfect central location. Would not hesitate in recommending a stay at caravela house.

This place is great for a place to sleep. Very cheap for a double bed, we stayed 2 nights. It's got a really great location, the beds are made daily (the bathroom could use a good bleach) but the shower was hot and the wifi worked in the rooms. I'd advise some ear plugs only due to the squaring seagulls in the morning since it's so close to the beach. Otherwise a really great stay!

Caravela house was in a perfect little spot in Lagos, right in the middle of all of the main shops, restaurants and bars. Personally the best part was I went with just my girlfriend and they were able to do a private twin room at the same price most other hostels do an 8 person dorm type arrangement. It was clean and the owners and people that worked there were incredibly helpful and happy to show you anything. We would stay there again and loved every bit of our trip from the partying to beach!

This hostel was perfect for our trip to lagos! Location was prime right in the middle of the good stuff! The staff was super friendly, they even made our beds everyday! The hostel is well worth what you will spend! We even had a little fan in our room for the heat! We were extremely happy and sad to leave such a great place!

Good price and good location. Not the place to meet other backpackers, but other than that it was a nice stay.

Nice little place, great value for money

Would recommend if you don't want to spend a lot of money. It's a simple place to stay.
