I would've liked the showers to have lockable doors and a change area like those by the Lagoon, otherwise it was great!

Nice and clean place to stay in cairns. Definitely a place i wanna stay at again.

I stayed few nights with a couple of my friends and we had a very good time. There was a poblem with our booking (miscommunication with Hostelworld on the kind of room we wanted). They checked us in another type of room and moved us to the right rooms on the following day, offering us the first night for free to apologise for the inconvenience). We booked a couple of tours with the hostel: good advise and very happy with our choice. Very good atmosphere and very very nice staff! Recommend it.

Excellent hostel! Had a private room, which was great! Two kitchens, nice pool, amazing people. Really easy to book tours through front desk. Wifi reached our room- which was a big bonus. It was right on the esplanade but you still had to walk quite a while to get to everything. But I would definitely stay again!

Overall good value for money. Security lockers are behind counter hence cannot have access after 8pm til the morning No hooks to hang clothes etc hence unclean etc Staff helpful and friendly... Backpackers not rowdy...nice

Its exactly what it advertises itself to be. Clean and well maintained as a hostel can be. staff were very helpful when it came to booking tours.

The staff was absolutely great. Really helpful.

The front desk staff was helpful when we got there, but we had an option of a cheaper rental car and they had us turn it down because they could get us a "better deal". Turns out it was more expensive. I did love their choice for the snorkeling adventure.

Clean, tidy, friendly, there was a pool and lots of help from the staff. A bit of a walk from the main town however.

Good place to stay. Pool is nice, great facilities, free meal if you want every evening. Bunk beds are a little annoying...they're made for small people, and the matresses don't fit properly, saying that I slept well everynight. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Stayed in this hostel for the second time and I had a great time. The staff is really friendly and the really make an effort to know everybody by name. The rooms and facilities are very clean and the pool is a huge plus :) Only downside is that there is not a night manager or a number to call after the reception closes in case something happens. Besides that: awesome hostel and I would definitely recommend it other people!
