The dorm room 15 was a bit smelly, probably because the carpet was old.

Overall excellent, but let down by two points.
1. Cold showers sometimes (seemed a little random, maybe there is a trick I didn't work out)
2. The mattress wasn't the greatest, but sleepable. Along that line, I'm personally no fan of the combined sheet/pillowcase either.
Would I stay again? Definately yes, but unless I worked out the hot water, probably not a third time

absolutely brilliant time staying here!!the hammocks are great!!staff were great even after i went missing for a night and they had numerous calls from my mother!!!met some great people there too..help make my cardiff experience amazing..even though it wasnt hard!!:)

it was really noisy. mostly because the door to the stairs near our room (room 14) would slam really hard when people were coming back at 4:00 in the morning. but, besides that, it was a great stay.

The showers didn't have any ventiliation and got very stuffy. I felt like I needed a shower after my shower. There are no locks on the individual dorm room doors which is a bit off putting. Made the rooms feel insecure. The free breakfast is a great idea though.

A pretty boring hostel in all areas. Nothing special. Beds are totally crap. The common room & kitchen are good. There's a tv, cheap internet, pool table etc. About a 15 minute walk from bus/train station.
