I signed up 6 of us to what I thought was a 6 mixed dorm room. But when we got there they told us they don't have 6 person rooms so they split us up. We were all on the same floor but it was not what we were expecting and would have preferred to have been told that. Luckily it all worked out.

The hostel was very clen, the staff was great the location was good! I stayed with my girlfriend. We payed for a 4 bed room and they gave us a 2 bed private! Breakfast is not included but they give you hot water, sugar and cups so you can fix yourself something. Also a common fridge avaliable! Would go there again!

Arriving at the hostel is complicated. You are sent from the hostel's address to another hotel in the same street for the check-in. The room, however, is 5-10min away. The check-in staff was helpful, but the guy bringing us to our room was clearly not interested in any kind of conversation. The room was very big and had a tv. The bathrooms were okay. It was more like being in a hotel than hostel, without any contact with fellow travelers or staff.

We booked a 6-bed dorm, but got to sleep in a double room which was very convenient. Our room was cleaned every day as was the shared bathroom. Very good value for money. The hostel is close to the central station and thus easy to find and to get around. However, there isn\'t really a typical hostel atmosphere and there is no kitchen. Rome is a great city!

Great location, about two blocks from Termini, which is partly why I chose this hostel. The employees were exceptional, they were extremely helpful with absolutely everything that I needed.

Good location and nice building. Friendly staff and clean rooms. We booked a 6-bed dorm but were upgraded to a private room when we were arrived. Rooms could have had a little extra character.

Stayed at Carlito's Way expecting just a normal no-frills private room and were surprised with what was pretty much a gorgeous hotel room! Spotless, lovely, private bathroom, very helpful staff, free wifi in all the rooms, etc. Not the best location, though it's close to the metro so you can go from there. Highly recommend if you don't mind taking the metro wherever you go!

Located near the train/subway station with a nice breakfast at the local cafe. A little hard to find, it is inside another hotel building.

The bathrooms could have been cleaned more often and they definitely need to put lids on the trash cans because the stalls would stink toilet paper festering in the trash cans.

Good hostel, actually it is like a hotel. I liked it. It is close to the main station (Roma Termini) so, it is a huge advantage. Beds are comfortable and clean. There is always hot water in the baths. Baths were ok but I think it should be more clean. But it doesn't mean that they were dirty :)

The first thing you have to know about Carlito's Way is that when you are trying to find it that there is no sign for the hostel. You have to check in at the Hotel Des Artistes (5th floor), which is at the nearby address of Carlito's way. In case you do not find it just ask in the bar next to it. The hostel has various apartments around it where you can stay, the rooms are really nice. But there are no common rooms, so is more like a hotel.
