My partner & I stayed in Lagos in a private room for 4 nights - the room is a decent size with a balcony which gives off a nice sea breeze. The hostel itself is really secure & clean, wet areas are cleaned daily & you have everything you need in the kitchen to cook. Only thing we had issues with were noise, walls are thin & you can hear everything (ppl were very loud)! Also there is no where to store luggage if you have a late check out which was inconvenient but all in all a good experience.
Lovely roof top area with great views over Lagos. It's a quiet, chilled out place, so not for you if you're looking to party and meet lots of people. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful in giving tips for my stay. I'd definitely stay here again.
Very nice and quiet hostel with great staff and good location close to the railway station
We had a fantastic stay at Carlos House - the staff was very personal and accommodating (although their attention is divided between Carlos House and Gold Coast, another hostel by the same owner down the road.) The location of Carlos House is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet nights in an otherwise noisy town, but also close proximity to everything (3 mins from town center, 15-20 to all beaches). Terrace is absolutely beautiful, and having access to a kitchen made it feel like a home.
