Internet didn't work. Instead I was advised to steal internet from the cafe downstairs. Shower drains were more or less clogged, and required you to stand in a bath of shared shower water if taking a shower longer than 30 seconds. Bed was covered in hairs that were not mine. Bar was rarely crowded, yet they insisted on blasting music as loud as possible.

The building it self is old, so nothing can be done there, but we had a room the size of a double bed, with a double bunk bed that was broken, we ended up paying to stay there, but went to a different hotel,.

Slightly shabby in a cool way, the room are simple. Went there on a Monday night so no noise to complain about from Long Street. All amneties are here, with a special thumb up for the showers on the second floor. Security was good with a "bouncer" to check who gets in, although I don't know how it might be for a busy Friday or Saturday night. Overall, spent a good night here, rested for the next leg of my trip in CPT.

Great place to stay if you're there to party, but Long Street's traffic and partygoers can make quite a lot of noise. I wouldn't recommend this place to light sleepers. Double glazing to keep the noise out and better curtains to keep the light out would make this a better place to stay if you plan on getting a good night's sleep.

I enjoyed my stay here. However, there's a bar on the ground floor and another (with loud, live music) on the first floor; the rooms are above this so the place is pretty loud.

Had a great stop here after hiking. Showers were clean and hot. They play music loud until very late, so be prepared. Would defiantly go back, wouldn't recommend it if your after somewhere to stay for long while though. More of a place to crash on night out. Very friendly staff.
