This hostel is like summer camp for grownups in the best way possible. Friendliest staff who will take you out every night and recommend the best places to drag your hangover the next day. Met some of the best people on my trip at this hostel. Vitae was one reason why I loved my trip to Budapest so much, definitely recommending to anyone ended that way! Thanks for the great stay everyone.

Vitae is a funky hostel at the top of a tall building in a great area in Budapest. The staff is super fun and friendly. During the day they help you find the coolest spots in the city and during the night you are sure to have a good time. I would definitely come back to this hostel...in fact I have already returned because I liked it that much. There's not much more to say than this is a great hostel and you've got to come! If you do come you may not want to leave. And that's a C3 guarantee.

We had an absolute ball at carpe noctem vitae! The staff are the most welcoming and fun of any we've met in Europe. There are amazing activities every night to participate in, such as boat parties and magic bath parties.... everyone is encouraged to get involved! The staff make sure that everyone has a fantastic time, we love vitae! Will definitely be returning! Thanks Noddy, Hoops, C3, Josh (Vanilla), Sexy Rob, Aussie Dave, Nugget and Gush for your amazing hospitality :) :)

This is honestly the best hostel I have ever stayed at. The location is perfect, the facilities are great, and everything is very secure. The staff are the friendliest people you will ever meet and go way out of their way to make sure you are having a great time. Group dinners every night, followed by group partying helps you feel like part of a backpacking community rather than a hotel. The hostel is very quiet and relaxed. Oh, and C3's pub crawls RULE!!!

One of the best Hostels that i've ever been to. With an excellent staff recommending sites to go to during the day and hold nightly pub crawls or other events. Definitely a party hostel, it can get crazy

The staff are what make this party hostel. They make an effort to have a chat with everyone and make sure they are having fun. It's not super clean and we ended up stealing clean sheets from another room, but its much nicer than what you would find at the bigger party hostels and is still really fun. Definitely recommended for a party weekend in Budapest

My friend and I are studying abroad in France and we decided to visit Budapest for 3 nights. This hostel is very a unique hostel, and after staying in many hostels all over Europe, we definitely suggest this one! The staff were very friendly and helpful. When we arrived to the hostel the staff gave us a map and told us all of the best things to do in the city. They told us about really good restaurants to eat at. The hostel is very chilled. Everyone is super laid back but they know how to party.

This was certainly a party hostel. If you like the idea of loads of young folk heading out and getting wasted every night, this place is for YOU! Be warned, their pub-crawl was a disaster, got abandoned by staff and sold vouchers for places we didn't visit, which sucked! I was a little put off by the chat about f*cking all the time and heard some sexist and homophobic language from staff which wasn't great. I know this was in the name of "banter" but found it off-putting personally.

I loved this place! I had the greatest time here, I never wanted to leave. The staff are great, always willing to help, have a chat or give advice on what to do in Budapest. There's a different party or pub crawl each night and they are all great fun. If you have no intention of socializing or going out, don't stay here, but I loved how they organized all these fun things for us. It felt cosy and friendly, not like those big hotel-style hostel chains. Stay here, you won't regret it!

Amazing hostel where dreams are made of! No, honestly, the staff are amazing, always willing to help you out. The whole hostel has a friendly atmosphere and anyone who visits quickly become engaged. You leave the place with a tingly feeling.

This hostel is by far the best in terms of fun, atmosphere, value, and staff I have ever stayed in. The welcome was more like a friend welcoming you into town than a hostel. The beds were standard but they pride themselves as a party hostel and make sure you go out and explore and have fun, which makes one's stay all the more enjoyable. They organize fun events and are always in good spirits and up for a laugh. The staff are comprised of people who stayed there and loved it.

I have never stayed at such a fantastic hostel in my life. I was booked in for 2 nights and ended up staying nearly two weeks. I have never met such a diverse range of fantastic people who manage to automatically bond over anything and have the most fun you could imagine. The staff are lovely and take the time to sit down with you to make you feel as welcomed as possible. The nights out are so much fun, well organized and different every night. I would never stay anywhere else.

what a ride. great times in Budapest because of these guys. It's the right mix of 'let's go party!' and 'but really, everyone needs sleep'. the best one of the 4 'Budapest Party Hostels' because you can actually get sleep here. maybe a real steam clean is needed, but to hell with it! more power to you guys at Vitae!

Maybe my best stay in my 8 weeks so far in Europe! Great common space for chilling, good tunes, fuseball, large kitchen and prep space, very social and friendly staff sharing good sightseeing tips and knowledge for nightlife, after hour noise rules enforced ensuring a decent nights sleep... even if we didn't get in til 4am most nights! I felt very relaxed and at home here, ended up staying for 4 nights instead of 2 and it was hard to leave the many greats friends made here.
