I'll put it this way, I intended on coming to Budapest for a few days, but was welcomed into Vitae from another hostel by Willie and Keys, and I'm still here extending my stay two weeks later. All the staff are amazing but i'm too lazy to write all their names. Best hostel i've been to in Europe hands down.

In the last 30 days, I´ve been traveling trough europe and had stayed only in hostels. When I got in Carpe Noctun Vitae Tittie took half an hour to introduce me to the sites (in the map), the facilities and also the night life wich was amazing. Nobody treated me like that ever. After that, I knew that the following days would be amazing and that was it. I was supposed to stay just 3 nights, but after I had decided to stay longer. Once you are there, GO TO THE BOAT PARTY and follow the guys.

Great hostel - loads of character! The staff were friendly and helpful and a lot of fun. Thanks for a great stay - we'll be recommending you to anyone visiting Budapest!

This place was amazing! We stayed in a private dbl room, shared a large bathroom (incl shower) and kitchenette. The staff was incredibly fun and knowledgeable about the city sites. We loved knowing that there was something fun to do every night and didn't have to worry about wandering the streets of Budapest on our own!!! Honestly, we really loved this place - check in/out when you want, eat a home-cooked dinner for a few bucks with the staff, hang out with awesome people. We'll be back!

Vitae!!! I love you!!!! This is hands down the most AMAZING hostel I have ever stayed in!!!! The staff are the friendliest, coolest people you will ever meet (especially Keys!!!) and know Budapest so well and are always happy to help you plan your day or suggest places to eat (200 forint pizza!!! :D ). And at night time they bring you to the best parties like the booze cruise or pub crawls and get drunk withg you! Perfect comination of relaxing and partying!! I will really miss this place!!!

AMAZING ! Atmosphere is good because you feel like you are at home. The decoration is really good. The security is total because I saw every customers leaving laptop or phones or tabs everywhere and no robbing problem. The staff is so cool very helpful and always available. Morpheus, Keis, Sexy Rob, Titties, Johnny Walker and others. They all can give you a different thing to make your trip unforgettable. Really clean and well situated hostel. Cheap party organized. Didn't want to leave. Miss U

One of the best weeks of my trip, my time at Vitae was amazing, great crew great atmosphere and great parties. Thank you all so much ill be back in the summer.

I stayed two nights and had a fantastic time. The staff are really cool and the whole place has a comfortable vibe. Great nights out! The bathrooms left a little to be desired, but it wasn't that big a deal. Free wifi in the rooms, no check out time, and lots of outlets in the rooms were all a nice bonus :)

Staff was fun and friendly, and the hostel had a very homey and lively atmosphere! Great location, we walked everywhere. The staff held events almost every night and it was a great way to meet new people.

I really loved it! Had a great time while i was there! Staff is really friendly and knows everything u might ask! The pub crawl was awesome! Well organized and within walking distance! The only thing i didnt like was the 2 computers they had! Really slow! Other than that i loved it! :)

They say they are a party hostel but you can not make some noise after 9 pm that they will reclaim with you because they say they have problems with the neighborhood. They say that they make parties every day, but with a price like 25 euros, this is not a price for a backpacker party. The staff was all the time discontented to help us. The good side was the kitchen and the structure, but you can not wash your clothes there.

Bloody brilliant, we had an incredible time! Budapest is a beautiful city, however I will be travelling back not just for the city but for the friends, experiences and loose times I had at this hostel! Love you all, thanks guys!

I stayed at vitae for 10 days and I can without doubt tell you that it was the best and most memorable days I've ever expierienced. The staff is amazing and they'll make sure you'll have the best time of your life, every single night. The hostel is very clean and comfortable and is equipped with everything you'll possibly need. Everybody is extremely friendly and outgoing and you'll quickly feel at home and like a part of the family. It's a place you have to visit atleast once in your lifetime!

This place is the bee's knees and quite possibly the cat's pajamas.

The atmosphere is hot, but It's too MESSY and more like a British colony of party animals rather than an intl hostel for young travellers. It may make whom are not from Commonwealth countries feel isolated or even ignored. And many of them seem like only live in the hostel and hang out for parties every night (Yes, it's famous for being a party hostel!) but not visit the city. It's actually the atic of the apt. Great location. Staff r helpful n give good advices.
