The Carpe Noctem crew made my stay in Budapest unbelievable. Can't say enough about those guys and girls. Very clean, great location near the main train station and tons to do for a solo traveler.

Really good spot in the centre of the city, the staff are all amazing and organise the best nights out in Budapest from booze cruises to crazy thermal bath parties. The hostel itself is really cozy so it's easy to meet people and make friends.

Im not typically a "party" kind of person but I had a fantastic time when joining te nightly social events. If you're a social creature stay here. If you're a shy person wanting to be more social, stay here and participate in all events. If you loathe all the drinking and the partying, I wouldn't recommend it. Note: greet shower water pressure absolutely clean everywhere. Feels like a home (if you don't mind getting to know strangers) Eceryone walks around in soka or bare feet. Loved the team

Great hostel that is cheap along with a ton of fun. They always have things for you to do during the day, and parties of some kind in the evening. The staff is incredibly cool and relaxed and willing to help whenever you need it. I have been recommending this hostel to everyone I have met during my travels, and I recommend it to everyone on hostel world.

The staff is awesome. They are totally nice and will make you feel welcome. If you are looking for a place to meet other travelers and party, this is definitely a great place to go. Carpe Noctem has several hostels in the area and this is the smaller of them, which makes it more intimate but they all meet up for pub crawls regardless so you meet everyone. The lockers are small so you won't be able to fit your bag in there but there are codes for the front door and apartment door, good security.

Couldn't recommend this place high enough. Carpe Noctem is more than just a hostel, it is a family who welcomes you into their home. No task is too great, no question too silly - the staff of CN go above and beyond to make your stay in Budapest truly great. Claudia

The staff are amazing - while it is a party hostel it is clean and quiet...didn't think that was possible! They organize activities every night, get you ridiculously cheap beer and show you where to eat. Hostel in a good location about 10 minutes walk from the Octagon, which was our reference point for everything. Hot water and clean showers a huge bonus.

This hostel was amazing! It was my favorite hostel by far! The staff was wonderful. They were friendly and accommodating both before our trip and during it! There were constantly events that were being planned for us to do and I never once felt bored! The rooms were incredibly clean, along with the bathroom and the common room! It was so close to everything we wanted to see, which the hostel staff circled for us on maps, making our sight-seeing that much easier!

BEST HOSTEL IN TOWN! Claudia, Scrumpy, Scotty, Big Rik, Shorty and George make an awesome staff team. Straight away made me feel like part of the family. It's super easy to meet other travellers here. The hostel is perfect for chilling out and socialising during the day, then in the evenings they meet up with the other party hostels for some crazy nights out. Highly recommended!

Great hostel! We stayed for three nights and had a great time. The hostel is perfect size with good facilities. They have the best staff in a hostel we have ever met, they made Budapest one of our trip's highlights. If we are ever back in Budapest we would definitely stay at Carpe Noctem again. We just wantt to thank thank the staff for the experience.

This hostel knows how to party, like California, you know, from that song. The staff make you feel like you are family and the place has all the accomodations you really need. The price is right. The beds are comfortable. The frig has communal milk. Amen. I would recommend this place to anyone that is traveling in small groups and wants to experience the night life in one of the coolest cities in the world.

What an Amazing place to stay. This is prime location stuff. I won't even bother mentioning cleanliness it's perfect. I'd rather mention that this hostel is so special because the staff go above and beyond what is required of them. They're all charming and feel like great friends from the start; you pretty much feel like you've joined them and every other guest in a giant share house when you arrive. Perfect atmosphere for making friends during the day then going out together at night. perfect.

Seriously the best weekend I've ever spent in a hostel. Was just like being welcomed into a buddy's apartment. If you're in Budapest, you've got to stay here.

The hostel staff is awesome! They really make you feel at home, and make it easy for solo travellers like me to meet new people. The hostel is very well located, it is within a walking range of all the main turistic attractions. I would definitely recommend this hostel to everyone!

Stayed with the guys at Capre last week. Was like a home away from home. Its a small clean appartment with plenty of space to relax and meet people. Very central to everywhere you need to be in Budapest. All the staff Scrumpy, Scotty, Clauds, Rikki and couch guy will organize anything you need and take you out for a good time every night. Great week. Will be back

The staff are very welcoming and most importantly the place has a good atmosphere for meeting fellow travelers. They party hard, but off site, so the hostel itself is quiet enough if you just want to sleep. Highly recommended.

This place is a party hostel. The staff was amazing and it was in a great location. If you want to party every night and meet some great people, than this is the hostel for you. Cheers
