After 2 months of travel - best hostel I stayed at. The thing that separates this hostel from others is that the staff don't just tell you things to do, they actually participate and are persuasive in getting all the guests to participate as well. Some of my best friends I made were the staff. Family dinners every night that allow you to get to know the other guests and then everyone goes out together to some sort of different event (boat cruise, open mic karaoke, etc.) Miss you guys!

Thank you Carpe Noctem for making our new year special. A perfect traveller haven in a heritage listed building. The staff were friendly, helpful and created a beautiful family vibe. Highly recommend staying here if you want to party with the BPH's, but still want to be able to go back to a quieter, relaxing place to sleep. Will definitely come back soon! X

It is impossible to say how good this place is. You walk in on your own, and when you (eventually) leave, you have to say goodbye to hour impossibly large and drunk family, that you will miss possibly more than your actually family. I was there over new years, and safe to say it was a night I won't ever remember. Just go.

My hungarian home away from home. Not a hostel, but an apartment with an ever changing group of friends to hang out with, to explore the beautiful city of Budapest with and to have a great night out with. Every single night. They're doing it right here.

Love this place, like living in flat with good friends! Smallest of the BPH chain, you'll get to know both guests and staff really well, so going out at drinking at night is like going out with old friends! Easy travel to everything you want to see in Budapest in between parties, with kitchen and good bathrooms. Meet up with all the other hostels for events, but come home and sleep in smaller sized dorm rooms, the best of both worlds really! Plan on extending your stay at least once or twice!

I had the time of my life while staying at Carpe Noctem in Budapest. The staff were so friendly and accommodating that I immediately felt welcomed. The four days I was at the hostel felt like I was staying with a tight-knit group of friends who I went out partying with every night. I couldn't have asked for a more amazing experience. When I eventually come back to Budapest I'll know immediately where to stay.

Incredible hostel! Really is more of a home away from home. Such a fun a sociable atmosphere. Staff really does an excellent job making you feel welcome and integrating you into the group. Small hostel so you really get to know everyone there. Great events planned every night, including a spa party at the Magic Baths and the infamous Jager train. Made my time in Budapest memorable. Would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend.

This hostel was the best I've stayed at so far. The staff is awesome and made it feel like a home away from home, really. There was always something fun to do at night and they had great recommendations for activities. It was hard to leave!

Parties every night, and activities every day, in the wonderful city of Budapest, what more can you ask for? Well, some extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff who will go out of their way to make sure your stay is the best it can possibly be. They might show you the cheapest off the track comme bars or many other of the cities hidden gems. Keep up the good work guys! Best hostel I've been too!
