Carpe Noctem is the best hostel I've ever stayed in! The staff is warm, knowledgeable, and fun, the facilities are great, and the location is perfect. The nights out with the other Budapest Party Hostels are some of my most memorable moments of the trip! Basically, Carpe is the best, and I highly recommend it.

If you stay at Carpe Noctem with an open mind, and a readiness to party, you're gonna have a good time. It certainly lives up to it's reputation, with no shortage of things to do during the day. However they also gave a run through of Budapest upon arrival and provided tips each day on activities you could do (including some activities that were organised through the hostel, e.g. caving=amazing). It's not the cleanest/fanciest hostel, but it's worth the sacrifice.

I could not have asked for more from a hostel. It was the perfect combination of a chill atmosphere yet the opportunity to party hard at night. The staff was unbelievably friendly, and they made me immediately welcome into their family. I met phenomenal guests, and it was a really fun atmosphere to meet people. Do anything you can to stay at this hostel; you won't be disappointed!

I didn't really have any idea what to expect of Budapest in terms of site seeing or night life but the staff and the people I met at Carpe Noctem made this an unforgettable trip in both aspects. Got awesome direction of stuff to see in the city and cool places to eat and hang out then. Also had unreal nights out planned which I definitely would not have experienced without their help. Also the hostel had such a comfortable family vibe to it. Loved it. Would go back again without question.

Do yourself a favour and stay here! I can't recommend this hostel enough especially if you are travelling alone. They have their own unique party hostel formula sorted. Lovely, helpful staff, great location and amazing events every night. Don't have set flights out of Budapest because you won't want to leave!

THE place to stay! The staff at Carpe is incredible! They welcome you as family, not as a guest, and go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying all that Budapest has to offer. There is a laid back and relaxed atmosphere during the day, but the staff make sure to have an amazing night planed for those that are there to party every night. They take you off site, so if you want to relax, you can stay in. Sat night baths party is a must do! Come for 2 nights, you'll end up staying 2 weeks!

A hostel like no other, one of the best I have ever stayed in after five months travelling Europe! What an awesome hostel in an amazing city. Super social and fun, perfect for the solo traveler. The staff are very welcoming, making you feel at home just like being at a friend's house! The events the staff organise are so unique to Budapest they really make your stay. The staff are so knowledgable and go out of their way to make your stay! Can't thank you guys enough, I loved every minute there!

Only stay at this hostel if you want to meet loads of fantastic, like minded people that are there to have a great time and sample everything the city has to offer. From culture to hardcore partying! But If you don't want this, what the hell are you travelling for anyway? Go home! The staff are great, will help you in anyway they can with great knowledge of the city and hostel. Its like staying at you mates house, enjoyed every second, best hostel I've stayed in! Book this place now travellers!

My stay at Carpe Noctem was amazing. I have done a fair bi of travel in my day, and the guys running this hostel really took it to the next level. They immediately treat you as of you were a friend coming to stay at their house overseas. Constantly making you coffee, asking you to hang out, an taking you out to wicked parties in the city. I would probably say I felt more comfortable here than any other hostel ever. Be ready to make friends and party, and follow the house rules-words to live by

The carpe crew are amazing! They immediately make you feel like family as soon as you walk in. Claws, biebs, Charlie, coco, scrumpy all of them. They show you the best place to go sightseeing and the best places to party. If your looking for an unforgettable stay in Budapest. Then f*** the day, seize the night at Carpe Noctem!

Amazing hostel. Great friendly and welcoming staff. It is an awesome party hostel that fosters a chill atmosphere with a different party activity every night lead by various enthusiastic staff members. It felt like home after only 4 nights and I was sad to leave. Would definitely come back to Budapest and stay here.

Best week eveeerrr. This hostel is like a home away from home be sure to stay for at least a week you won't want to leave. They know how to party but they sure know how to clean the next day. We will definitely be coming back 100%. Miss that family already!

Great hostel with really cool people. However, there were no locks on the doors and only small lockers which made me a little nervous.
