Suzie, Ian, Aaron, and Beth are amazing. They take a serious interest in you and making sure you have an amazing experience in Budapest. This really isn't a hostel, it is more like staying at your friends house. If you don't plan on being open to new experiences or being social this really isn't the place for you. Everyone is nice and respectful. If I ever make it back to Budapest, I will definitely be staying here again.

Had an amazing time, when you can\'t tell who works there and who is staying there, you know you are in a place that is going to be fun. And the beds are amazingly comfortable for a Hostel!

Nice and welcoming staff that gave us excellent information about the city. People are allowed to smoke inside. Don't be frighten away by the stairwell leading to the hostel on the top floor...(renovating object).

i cannot reccomend this hostel enough. it is more like a family, and everyone gets to know each other. suzie is the best and organizes nightime activities, the first night the staff cooked for us. it took me a day to figure out who was working there and who was staying. very relaxed atmosphere and it felt like home away from home. i would have stayed there for weeks if i was able to.

An amazing hostel!!! An excellent place to stay if your travelling alone or in a group of two. Everyone is very social! The best part is when you first walk in you cant tell staff from fellow travellers. The staff can tell you excactly what to do and what not to do, laying it all out on a map for you. Also, they organize group outings at night, making sure everyone has a great time and can meet the other hostellers. If youre going to Budapest, STAY HERE!! ----CFBs

If you have to stay somewhere in Budapest then please make it Carpe Noctem. The staff were so friendly and fun, and the location couldn't be better. Without a doubt, you'll have a great time if you stay here!

This is the third time I have stayed at Carpe. Every time I can't believe that it might be better than the last but some how Suzi and Ian manage to top it! This is the ONLY place to stay in Budapest if you want to have the best time of your life ever! This is the most sociable and fun hostel I have ever stayed in and there have been a few! Usually u book a hostel so u can stay in a certain place. With Carpe Noctem u go to a certain place to stay at the hostel! The reason this hostel is so incredible is the atmosphere which means you help create the best feature of this hostel. The shenanigans u get up to in the hostel r the stories u'll wanna remember when your senile. I LOVE this place. Stay there if u aren't a complete antifun prude or obnoxious douchebag and i guarantee u will love it too. Miss you guys already. DJ.

Carpe Noctem was a great place to stay. The hostel staff does a great job of making sure your stay in Budapest is unreal. Everyone was so friendly and outgoing it was tough to leave. Definitely recommend staying at Carpe Noctem!!
