Carruth House was a delightful B&B set amongst sugar maple trees in an idyllic American setting. Our host, Heidi, was as charming as her B&B - full of warmth and character. Carruth House is a short T train ride away from the centre of Boston and the trains were always frequent so it made Ashmount and ideal setting for our stay in Boston.Carruth House was a delightful B&B set amongst sugar maple trees in an idyllic American setting. Staying with Heidi at the Caruth house was an absolute delight. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the house was warm and inviting. Breakfast was always great, and the place truly felt like a "home away from home." Heidi is very friendly and knowledgable, and happy to help with any questions you might have about Boston and the surrounding area. If we should find ourselves in Boston again, we will definitely be returning to the Caruth House.Staying with Heidi at the Caruth house was an absolute delight. My wife and I had a lovely time here. Heidi was extremely helpful, hospitable and provided a breakfast that was hard to beat! Not to mention free internet access and phone calls within the US. It was a real home from home, with an incredibly comfortable bed and a nice selection of DVDs! Superb value for money all round :) My wife and I had a lovely time here. This place is great! It's not bang in the middle of Boston but easily accessible. The house itself is beautiful, the hostess brilliant and the experience fantastic. Owner was very friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. A bit of a mission from the center of town (20 minutes or so including walk to local station) but good value for the money overall.
