I'm french, i usually criticize anything but THIS "hotel" was very good ! I advice you to visit it ;) American life ... Thanks a lot hoster

Heidi was very nice, maybe a little too talkative at times, but overall very pleasant to stay with. The issue with Carruth House isn't so much with clenliness, it was cleaned daily, it was with the fact that the entire house seemed to be under construction. Outside of that it is very close to the subway, every morning Heidi had a delicious breakfast spread, and she and her son was readily available to assist with any questions/concerns. For the price it was a very good value.

Wonderful hosts, interesting history, quiet location and I felt quite safe, excellent public transportation near by, the food was delicious and varied.-bagels and salmon with caviar -oh my! Marshall's homemade fruit salad was filled with fresh blueberries and melon and whole strawberries.I asked for coffee at 7am and got it made for me every morning before the scheduled breakfast hour. The shower was a welcome treat, with a big fluffy terry robe to dry off in. I like old houses and history.
