We had a lovely stay at Casa al Tronco! Tania, the hostess, was so wonderfull and willing to help. We stayed two nights longer just because the room was so nice and it was the perfect place to get some rest and still have the opportunity to go into the city for some fun! Although its not in the middle of the centre, the location is great with a beautiful spot to have breakfast/lunch just around the corner and a beautiful view over the city! We would definitly go back!!

By far the best place we've stayed in South America. The house is absolutely beautiful - it has only a few rooms so there's a lovely cost atmosphere. The view is stunning! Tania was an amazing host, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Rooms are homey and Casa Al Tronco made me feel so much at home! Love the decorations and the kitchen area. But of course the terrace outside the kitchen is the best. Rooms are cleaned every day and sheets/towels changed every few days .. great place to stay for long-term!!

Best place ever!!! I had a private room, that just felt like home. They have a great kitchen, beautiful bathroom, and nice places to relax. Bit out of the centre, but its a nice walk. I came from a dump in Potosi, it was really like I died in Potosi and gone to heaven in Sucre. Tania is so nice and will help you with everything you need. I extended my stay with 2 more nights, I loved it so much

Really great place to stay in sucre. Located in a really nice area near recolletta the house has a beautiful design and is like living in luxury compared to many other hostels... The kitchen is great and it's balcony gives an amazing view over the city. Tania was a lovely host and helped with all our needs. There is also the opportunity to take part in Spanish lessons at the house with a private instructor. Would highly recommend especially for the price!

Nice little hostel close to La Recoleta. Great view over Sucre from the kitchen's balcony. It is a good place to relax for a few days.Well maintained and it has a well equipped kitchen.

Best address in Sucre! Casa al Tronco is a beautiful place to stay at. Ebo and Tanja have been very kind and helpful and the house is full of interesting books, games, art - basically more than one could ever wish for, especially at this price point. Highly recommended!

The hostel is really nice and comfortable, even better than many hotels. It's a quiet place, not a party hostel at all and a bit off the center, up on the hill. But the view is amazing. The kitchen is nice and well-equipped. Ebo - the owner - is a bit weird, but really kind and helpful! ;-) The place is cramped with arts - really special :-) I'd come back any time!

What a beautiful place to stay in Sucre! The owner was very hospitable and more than willing to share his passion for the city. Beautiful views of the city from very comfortable and well decorated rooms. The only negative were the showering facilities. If you are up for a party, don't stay here, but if you are a couple there could not be a more romantic setting. We highly recommend!

Hostel up the hill a little far from centre, but with a stunning view over Sucre. One of the cleanest kitchen I've seen in 6 months South America. Hostel very clean in general. The owners Ebo and Tania are very helpful and have heaps of information about all Bolivia. Highli recommended!

Staying at the Casa Al Tronco was definitely one of the best part of our stay in Sucre! It's in the beautiful Recoleta neighborhood, which is about a 15 minute walk from the central plaza. There's some great architecture right around the place and it's nice to be in a quiet part of town in the evenings. The place itself is kept spotlessly clean, Ebo and his wife are super helpful and very knowledgeable about the city and there are some great views from the terrace! Definitely recommended!
