I had a really hard time finding the place when I arrived. I tried following the directions provided by the hostel but the streets aren't clearly marked. I ended up wandering around for an hour trying to find the place... Luckily a Chilean couple took pity on me and helped. But the actual street address is just that little passageway and no one seemed of know where it was! Maybe you can encourage people to take a cab their first time into town.

Great location, walk up the steps and enter a world of cool street art and colourful cafes surrounded by stunning views. The hostel is cosy and friedly with a charming and informative owner.

This hostel is really great, very clean and serving one of the best breakfasts we have had in 4 months in South America. Highly recommended. We will come back here if we return to Valparaiso.

Every thing run well in this Hostel.....very good staff, good position and spacious rooms..... just the noise in in my rooms that is beside reception was the only bad thing in this hostel....but doesn’t matter.....

It is an OK hostal. It has really nice hot showers and a good kitchen. The dorms are a nice size but try to get one at the back of the hostal. The ones on the front suffer from the noise of the street outside. I didn`t find the staff overly friendly, nor did they go out of there way to help you . However, you are in a great location for visiting the cerro`s, the port area, and close to the metro for Vina Del Mar. Not a bad stay.

This was a friendly little hostel. The couple that run it are always around and will sit down to eat breakfast with you. They are great for giving advice about getting around town and have metro cards to lend if you was to go down to vina del mar. The hostel us up a very steep hill (as most are here!) but is close to lots of lovely little restaurants and useful things like banks and the post office. The atmosphere at the hostel is very quiet but relaxing.

One of my favorite hostels in S America, I highly recommend it! Incredible breakfast with EGGS (did I mention eggs!?), fruit, and your usual bread and jam. The hostel is run by a warm and friendly German couple who on occasion will join you for breakfast around the dining table.. They have many suggestions and interesting insights on life in Chile and Valpo. A wonderful place to meet other travelers, especially if your traveling alone...enjoy!
