This hostel ha been witout doubt one of the friendliest, best run and most homly hostels I have ever been in. You feel like you are in a family and that you can connect with anyone whenever you want - something that is particularly important if you are travelling alone. Without any hesitation I can say that staying here has been the best way to start off my summer. Thanks to everyone at Casa Babylon.

Hostel is located 15 minutes walk out of the city center. While you would think this is a quiet place. It is not. Besides the backpackers, there are what seems like a dozen locals living in this house. It gets pretty loud in the evening and deep in the night. If you are looking a party hostel this might be it. The accommodation was clean and neat. One drawback is that there are only two bathrooms and people tend to lock themselves in for an hour to do their ablutions.

Had a really nice time with a bunch of great people, hostel is great for Malaga centro and is only about fifteen minutes from the beach as well. Bar is good and kitchen and bathroom facilities were also great. Beautiful gardens and despite the imrpovements going on it was very peaceful. thoroughly recommend

Hostel located about 10-15 min walk from city centre - accessible easily, but definitely not in the 'heart' of Malaga. Staff was cordial but not welcoming or enthusiastic. If you don't speak Spanish, you may have difficulty communicating with staff. There were always people around but it was unclear who exactly worked there vs. friends of the owners? Few guests. Wifi in rooms which was great. Lighting could be better to read at night, as with outlet accessibility. Room of ground floor very loud.

Although casa Babylon lies a bit off the city centre it 's still in its vicinity.Nice atrium with 2 hammocks and some sofas. Community room is OKish, but better for socialising is the patio with wooden benches and a sheltered chilling place or the beautiful upper terrace. The 8-bed dorm seems to be a bit darkish, best place near to the window. Lockers close to the bed. Bathtub ensuite, shower downstairs.Kitchen offers average facilities.Friendly staff with mixed knowledge of the English tongue.

Great price for what you get! The owner and his friends are all really nice and invited me to sit down and have dinner with them one night I was there. A little loud but that's to be expected in a hostel. Comfy beds and pretty interior!

This was my first ever hostel experience and we were only there for one night, but I really couldn't complain about anything. For the price, it was great! The free breakfast was huge and filling and the staff were super nice. Fantastic! This hostel was awesome, Super clean and the staff was wonderful. Would stay here again and recommend this place to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Definitely has character! The communal spaces are truly spaces of art! Would recommend speaking Spanish to visit here as you probably would feel more a part of the community at this hostel as I did as an English speaker. A decent walk towards the main city action or to the water, which sometimes was a bit of a nuisance. There are buses though if you can be bothered waiting to catch one? Sliding door to the dorm room didn't lock, but they did provide a locker to store your things. Was okay?

Friendly. Good for socializing. We were in the room right next to the kitchen and common area so noisy until late. Good for making friends, not so good for sleeping. Much better to join in than and go to bed at the same time as everybody else instead of trying to sleep earlier :)

This was the most colorful/fun looking hostel I have ever stayed in. The location was pretty good, 5 minutes to all the bars and about 15 minutes from the beach. 15-20 min by taxi from the bus station. Everything was clean and the staff was really nice/accommodating but there seemed to be only one bathroom. Only real complaint was that there was no lock on our bedroom door

Decent hostel. Not far from the center. Not the fanciest hostel I've ever stayed, but it was a fine place to sleep and hang out a bit every night. Has everything you'll need; comfortable enough beds, lockers, kitchen, lounge, outside patio, full bathrooms.

The bathroom was extremely moldy. Other than that, the rest of the place seemed clean enough.

Nice hotel but a little bit outside of the city center (like 10 minuits by foot) and if your going by bus it´s hard to find the bus station (it´s not leaving from the main bus stacion u need to cross the trainstation. by train it´s also cheaper to get from the airport to the city center than by bus
