Great place! Mike, Diana, and the entire staff do a wonderful job of catering to their guests and maintaining a great place that is easy to feel at home at. Mike the owner was very informative about Cali and Colombia generally. Clean and safe hostel. Suggestions: I think the owners should do a better job introducing themselves and welcoming guests. I think staff should be a bit more knowledgeable about how to do things. I think some of the rules (like if ur flight is later in the day when you check out you have to pay, or if u arrive before 7am you have to pay for the previous night) should be softened to make people feel more welcome... No window in our room. Staff were friendly enough, especially the owners. There´s a big TV and good DVD collection if you want to stay in. Lots of Salsa and Bars nearby. This hostel is quite adequate. The owners are friendly and the location is great. The private room I was in was a bit stuffy, with no windows. It was also right smack next to the reception. But there was a fan! While I was there, not much was going on. Though very near the craziness, it is a quiet hostel for Cali, if that's what you're looking for.This hostel is quite adequate. It's a professional operation with all you need. The only negative was the stifling heat. Cali is humid and hot, so a fan blowing hot air is not comfortable. Make sure you get a room with a window! The hostal was overall very good. The private room had a fan but no window, which made it alittle hot in there. The kitchen was very modern and clean, which is a big plus. The TV room was excellent and the staff was very courteous Additionally, the environment was friendly. Our only complaint is the 10,000 per person pesos charge for using the hostal facilities to wait for your late bus. Other than that we highly recommend the hostal.The hostal was overall very good.
