Mateo was fabulous. He greeted us warmly, gave us area info, was professional and courteous. Michaela was helpful and friendly, as was Mercedez. More hooks and tables would be nice. Fantastical view, enjoyed the patio facing the Alhambra. Very bothersome was when employees/volunteers talked loudly while we were on patio and in the common area. As guests, it would be nice if we didn't hear griping and hollering as that is what we were getting from

Casa bombo was the best hostel I've stayed in yet. It was small with an incredible view and a very homey feel. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable with a private bathroom that was almost like a one bathroom. The entire hostel has an incredible view of the Alhambra and a great location in the city. The tapg were so welcoming, helpful and friendly! Andrea the owner took us on a private walking tour, it was wonderful. Breakfast was even great, and the staph helped us with everything.

Good location, very nice and helpful staff. Only thing to watch out is that if you are traveling with a huge suitcase like I did, be prepared to work out on a lot of stairs! The hostel is not reachable by taxi, a few minutes walking is inevitable.

I've stayed in quite literally hundreds of hostels and this one was excellent. The house is beautiful, the beds super comfortable (even the top bunk in a 6-bed dorm was inviting!), but most of all the staff is top notch. I had an emergency project to work on one night and couldn't go out for dinner, and the staff brought me a full plate of risotto and salad that they had made for themselves, with no charge! It was very, very sweet. Highly recommended. Hard to find, though...get good directions.

Casa Bombo is probably one of the coolest, cleanest and well-decorated hostels I've ever stayed in. It barely feels like hostel--which is why I booked it for my family to stay in (my parents weren't too happy about sharing a bathroom, but I could tell if it hadn't been for that and the rough trek through albaycin with our bags they would have LOVED this place). The two owners are super friendly and helpful, and the free sunset walking tour we went on with one of them was truly beautiful. A+!

Casa Bambo embodies the mentality of "Mi casa es su casa." The staff is so down to earth and very chill (shout outs to Andrea, Matteo, Mercedes, Michaela and Audrey!), and the view from the terrace is so beautiful! If I didn't have to go back to work so soon after staying there, I would have definitely prolonged my stay (Granada is AMAZING!). If I hit up Granada again, I will definitely stay at Casa Bambo!

Our stay at Casa Bombo was great! It was the nicest hostel I've ever stayed in, and had a really great sense of community. It was clean, quiet but also fun, I loved the evening tour and the friendliness of the staff and other guests. Great, great place...and not a bad view of Alhambra, either.

Andrea, Matteo, and the rest of the enthusiastic crew at Casa Bombo were fantastic! Thank you for the walking tour, stories, good vibes, bar and restaurant recommendations, and help with the map :). Hasta luego, I am recommending your wonderful hostel. The free breakfast is a plus, and waking up with a view of the city and the Alhambra is unbeatable.

Really friendly staff who made you feel at home from the moment you arrive (including nice dinners and lunch) and lovely view on the Alhambra from the terrace and living room.

My cousin and I were only intending to stay in Granada for two nights, but this hostel and it's staff were so amazing that we just couldn't help but stay another night! We're onto our 3rd week of travelling and Casa Bombi is still ranked at the top of the list for our favorite hostels. I've recommended this hostel to several people already and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We couldn't get the door from the room to the terrace to lock.

Has great potential, but needs more attention paid to the details. It seemed like it wasn't really finished. For example, there was a mirror in the room, but it had never been hung on the wall. The room was very spacious, but could have used a chair or something to make use of the space. The beds were comfortable. The location within the Albazin is lovely, but it is a challenge to get there with luggage especially in the rain. The staff are volunteers and very nice, but not real knowledgeable.

I spent in Granada only 2 nights in January. This hostel is really cool and you feel there more like in a house. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is great. Besides, the terrace has incredible view on Alhambra. Recommended! Alexandra, Andrea, Clay, Cristina, Mikaela and Naomi (in alphabetic order), thank you guys. I really enjoyed my stay.

We felt very welcome there, the atmosphere was great. Not hard to find, very good location in a characteristic part of town, with a beautiful view on Alhambra. Good breakfast, wifi worked well, there was hot water in the shower. Staff was helpful and explained the city to us. Everything I would expect from a hostel. I will definitely stay there again the next time I visit Granada.

Amazing hostel. Very friendly staff, located in Albaicin, so it may be a bit tricky to find it, but it is worth it.

We stayed at this hostel just before Christmas, so it was very quiet, but it was a beautiful place to stay. The staff were so friendly and the hostel was very clean. The beds were very comfortable (with white bedding which is encouraging from a hostel!) and were very nicely decorated. The view across to the Alhambra was fantastic and the roof terrace would be lovely in the summer. Just prepare to walk up a big hill!
