Great location and helpful staff. No breakfast and lockers in room don't lock.

Awesome hostel! It has a very nice rooftop area where you can chill out, hot water was always there, the common area is welcoming and the kitchen is big! Staff are really nice!

Very friendly & homely feel. I had the pleasure to meet kind, helpful staff and made some great friends with fellow travellers. The accommodation was kept clean and met all my needs. Top location, it had everything I needed both inside the hostel & at my doorstep. Thankyou Casa Central, I look forward to staying with you again in the future!

The staff were unenthusiastic and not very friendly. There were cockroaches in the rooms and around the hostel. The location is excellent though but I definitely would not stay there again when there are so many other great hostels in the vicinity.

It's a little old and no air conditioning, but the 2 people only rooms are great! Less worrying you have to do about theft and lots of privacy. The women's bathrooms are very well lit and clean. I know hostels that keep lighting to a minimum so you can't see all the nasty stuff but Casa is not one of them.

I really wanted to love this hostel. It had a lot going for it. Free Wifi was good. I liked the wall divide in the 4 bed dorms, made it feel like your own little 2 bed room. I didn't love it because the mattress was like a cardboard box. And the showers hot water was very limited. But it was hot so a cold shower was fine! It was a nice enough stay for two nights. Close to Central station so I didnt need to lug my big heavy bag around too much!

Common areas a bit small and a bit of an older building so it was a little run down, however they had free Internet and the rooms were semi private and specious.

Having stayed at this hostel 2 other times, I had trusted it to be reliable, quiet and enjoyable. (I've reviewed it positively) This time I stayed in a room that had so much noise from the outside that I couldnt sleep. The sheets were thick and far too hot for summer, with no AC or fan. Window faced the street & had traffic noise, as well as noise from the kitchen & toilet. I realised that the walls were thin and I could hear every word of a moderate argument next door. Prices have increased.

Even though it was a low budget accomodation it should be CLEAN. The bathrooms were disgusting. Also, the price of 100AUS$ per night is too expensive for the value you get. The beds were very uncomfortable - this is how I imagine it to be in prison - we have been staying in much better backpackers.

We've had 2 nights booked. On the first night we had room 102. The bank bed didn't have security rail. I wake up in the middle of the night right on the edge and couldn't sleep the rest of the night (was so afraid). It is very dangerous and shouldn't be acceptable. We've asked for the different room for the second night and got 107. My friend was sleeping on the top and was bitten multiple times (looked like bed bags). I had some bites as well but looked more like mosquitos. The room was very hot
