It is immersed in the green of cypress trees and holm oaks and is surrounded by countless medieval towns and castles. It is only 7 km away from the medieval town of Certaldo, the birthplace of the famous writer Boccaccio and 15 km away from San Gimignano, famous for its towers and its magnificent historical centre.
