cool hostel with a great bar that opens up at night to the locals, good bar staff too. Location is right in the heart of Villa Madalena

Casa Club has developed a great team of caring and attentive staff. The owners play a very active role in the business and it is clear to me that their genuine enthusiasm for their business, their city, and their culture will continue to make Casa Club Hostel a great place to stay in Sao Paulo. Highly recommended.

The staff were friendly and quite helpful but I felt uncomfortable that there were no locked doors between the street and my bed during the bar's opening hours. The location is good, though a bit of a trek from either of the closest metro stations. Overall, it was okay but not somewhere I'd stay again.

Good hostel in a nice district. They host parties and the Sao Paulo Pub Crawl passes by sometimes. Good breakfast, good facilities, although the dorms are a bit crammed when you are staying there with 16. The hostel is a bit far from the nearest subway station, takes about 15mins to walk. I recommend this place when you stay in SP, the nice neighborhood is a plus. Oh, and the closest is Faria Lima station (yellow line), not Vila Madalena, please update this on your route description guys!!!

Decent kitchen, great breakfast. Cleanliness in the bathrooms was lacking- especially in the dorm. Overall it was good, but I found the price high for such a cramped dorm.

The staff at Casa Club was great. They helped us make arrangements to get to Ilha Grande, go see a football game, and see a few other sights in the city all in only two days. i would definitely stay there again.

Basics covered but there was limited living and communal areas for hostel guests as the place turns into a bar at night. i.e. hostel guests are banished to the back. The breakfast was good as it included toasties! the closest train station was a 9 block walk.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I met a lot of interesting people there. Vila Madelena is a perfect location whether you want to relax or party or enjoy nice music or like good food. This is probably one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in.

How can I tell about my experience in the Hostel Casa Club? I found the peace which I'm looking for in the Carnival. People of the room respected the silence law at night, while out the mass was established. The city doesn't miss atractions. All the guests were foreigners and keep contact with a such good people do you always learn things, if you are with open mind.

Nice place, really friendly and helpful staff. The hostel bar is pretty cool too. However, contrary to the hostelworld description there is no swimming pool that we could find.

Even though this hostel is relatively small, I really liked it. It was an awesome hostel to meet people with a bar downstairs and free to use computers and wifi. The staff were absolutely lovely, helpful and really easy to get along with. I would highly recommend this place, especially if you're a lone traveller. Especially as everything is pretty central to the hostel.

Helpful staff. Good sized lockers. Rooms a bit cramped, but thats standard for big city hostels in Brazil. 3 computers with internet (when it works). Good bar area.
