Stayed here for 2 nights in a private single was really good. In no way is this a hostel you will meet people but you can see that by the description. The room was small but enough and really clean the bathrooms were good and cleaned every day and there were lots of them never had to wait. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke really good English. This is a fantastic hostel for what it is. Thanks guys

Friendly staff in a relatively quiet hostel. It's situated near Plaza Catalunya and really close to the metro.

Location and price were excellent. Breakfast was very basic but there is a kitchen with a fridge so you can supplement it. My room had no window to the outside and got a bit stuffy. I would stay there again.

What a great hostel! It's clean, the breakfast was delicious, on the center of city. If I return to Barcelona I will stay there again!

This was exactly what my girlfriend and I wanted as our "home base" while traveling in Barcelona. The private double room was perfect for the two of us with an extremely comfortable bed, fresh linens, easy access to hot showers (my favorite part), and more than enough outlets to plug in our gadgets. The staff was accommodating to the fullest extent, providing tips on how to navigate the city and highlights that we should experience throughout our travels. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend Casa C

The staff is very friendly, helpful and talkative. A pity is to share the bathroom with other guest for that money. And organize another map. The one you get from the hostel is not very useful.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in throughout my trips in Europe. The hostel is located at the center of the city and this meant easy access to any sort of transportation. Not to mention, most of the places one would like to visit as a tourist is found very near the hostel itself. The staff were excellent as not only were they informative, they were also very friendly and great hosts. The facilities - from the bathrooms, the kitchen and etc, were also more than adequate for us backpackers!

Casa Consell is fantastic! A friend and I stayed in a Private Ensuite; it was lovely. The breakfast included was great; lots of variety. The staff, especially Francisco, were superb; really friendly and available to help. The location is fab; close to the airport train and a Gaudi lovers paradise! I would recommend this hostel to everyone; singles, couples, etc. and will definitely stay there again when I next return to Barcelona.
