The place is very nice, location is excellent, staff are very friendly. We stayed as a couple in a double bedroom ensuite, I think it was the best room they got there, the room is big and charming, the bathroom is ok too, but sometimes the shower's water got cold all of a sudden, I'm not sure why. The wifi signal in our bedroom was poor. It is a great place to stay as a couple, it's very quiet, don't stay here if you're looking for party.

We had a great time at the Casa Consell. The staff were very welcoming & informative re restaurants, museums & fun things to do. The morning breakfast is good w/ fresh bread, jams, cereal, 2 kinds of milk & granola. There is always coffee & tea & it is a full kitchen. You can cook complete meals. They have a maid who cleans daily even after we picked up after ourselves. I love the patio, with plants, tables and chairs. Great character. Bathroom clean but small.

Great location, lovely guest house, the family were wonderful, where my room was, got noisy at times by other guests, the breakfast could be a little better eg, fruit, yogurt :-) otherwise all was good :-)

After traveling a lot around Europe, I consider this hostel really good concerning location, cleanliness and security. The only two things I have to say is that they have a problem with hot water and I couldn't get a shower and also during the night there's no one at the reception.. I recommend and would go back. Staff is amazing!

The staff at the hostel were very friendly and very helpful and recommended some great places to eat and drink. The hostel was in a great location, very close to Las Ramblas and a 2 minute walk away from lots of shops! The hostel was always very clean and spacious. My boyfriend and I felt very comfortable there and felt very at home.

We have definitely enjoyed our stay at Casa Consell!!! Rooms & closets were clean enough and had everything you could need. The staff is positive and helpful, you can get advice on any question.

very wonderful experience! close to center, close to metro station, easy to access everywhere in Barcelona! But only money is very expensive.

I absolutely loved this place! Right near Passeig de Gracia, very easy to get to using the airport train. They only accept cash but there's a DeutscheBank cash machine next door and Barclays, HSBC, and others nearby as well. Perfect location!

I stayed in Casa Consell in December with two friends. The guest house was beautiful and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had the most wonderful time! I would definitely stay there again!

This hostel was very clean and the staff were extremely helpful when recommending restaurants and places to see. We stayed in the Deluxe 4 bed en-suite, it was well kept, comfortable and the shower room was very clean. This hostel was excellently located being only one street away from the Passeig de Gracia. Thanks for having us, we'll definitely stay here next time I come to Barcelona.

Best staff, very friendly. Location perfect, close to every place you might want to visit. Hostel was very clean and breakfast good.
