It's a mother daughter team. The mother is lovely. The daughter is awful. After 6 months of travelling through Half the globe I can honestly say I've never been treated worse than by the woman who runs this place. She appears inept at putting herself in the shoes of her clients. Simple things like being there for their agreed upon arrival and problem resolution are beyond her. On the plus the place is in a good spot, it's a lovely place. New management needed and it'd be a gold mine.

We had a really nice stay at the hostel. I would have been nice to have walking directions from the train/bus station. We got really lost, but it was an easy walk once we got good directions. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was very good. We had a nice room overlooking the courtyard. Also had a nice kitchen that was well equipped. Some of the management was excitable, but mostly easy to work with.

Perfect location - near railway station and Old City, many bars and restaurants in the neighborhood, very good spacious rooms, with very good breakfast. Helpful and nice owner that helped us with an extra person which joined us unexpectadely. It was a real pleasure to stay in this apartment.

Breakfast was poor, because the bread was not fresh and there were not any salted food like cheese or ham. The dishes and cups were not properly clean, We like the fact that staff solved a lot of issues.

- unfriendly welcome - insufficient bedclothes (only 1?!!) - owner smoked in the kitchen and so this smell was also in the breakfast-room - owner played Farmville while we were having breakfast, with the result : numerous mouse-clicking noise (gets irritating after some time)

Be aware if you book a room for 3 people....the 3rd person sleeps on a "bed" consisting of a 2" mattress on a metal bedframe. It was extremely uncomfortable and small - not suitable at all for an average sized adult. The proprietor does not speak english and we did not speak Italian so it was extremely difficult communicating. Breakfast, however, was outstanding! Lots of choices and good quality.

The owner told me when I arrived that she was having lunch and that it will take 20 minutes for she to arrive, almost pissing my pants, that wasn´t nice to hear. At breackfast she offered to a couple of Italians espresso coffe, but not to us. On the other hand Its a beautifull B&B, nice bathrooms, you can pay with a credit card, our rooms had acces to the garden, they charge you for using the kitchen but only if you don´t clean after yourself. Close to everithing in Siena.

The location actually is very good, directly between train station and city centre. You just need to know the right way to go from the train station. Unfortunately we just found out about it later. Right in front of the train station is a shopping mall which is connected by escalators with the upper city. If you go up by escalators, it is only a short walk (5 minutes) to the hostel. Overall, we had a great stay at the hostel and the owners are very very nice.

like this lovely and cozy room. so beautiful and clean with nice price.

The hostel is just outside the city gate - a perfect location because it's easy walking distance from the train station (go through the mall across from the station and find the up escalator) and to the city. The hostel was very clean and nice, breakfast was good, internet was fast, and I felt good about leaving my computer and cameras there. The owner does not speak English, so bring a phrase book with you if you do not speak Italian. I would definitely stay here again.

Keys were left in bag on front door, anyone could have taken it. No hot water for the first night, boiler was not on. Very cold! Heater did not work very well. On the other hand, the room was very nice and clean, French doors opened to back yard.

This was a really nice b and b and in a really nice location with a beautiful view. However the host was not there on our arrival so we found it very hard to get into our rooms. Lucky a friendly man from the apparment block helped us out in the end. We felt unwelcome and in the way.
