When I got there, at around 4pm, there was nobody to open the door so I had to wait like 30 minutes till someone appeared. Also there should be a bigger sign in the entrance with the name of the B&B.
Stayed here for two nights during the Palio. We stayed in the separate block (3 bedrooms, shared kitchen and shared bathroom). Was very clean, huge room and great breakfast. Would recommend!
Good place to stay during the Palio and we got a lot of information from the staff. Wifi didn't work in the rooms but it was good closer to the office. Water was cold for a day because the system went off.
very nice casa! thank you for your great service!
The wifi was a bit quirky; sometimes it would connect and other times not. It was slow. Breakfast was great!

We really liked our stay there. It was near the city centre, the staff was really nice and helpful. They served good breakfast in the garden and there is also equipped kitchen available for the guests. We would definitely recommend Casa di Alfredo to other guests.
Perfect location wonderful wellcome from owners perfect hosts!
This was an ok place to stay. Comfortable, clean but staff were very hit and miss. Some were very friendly and others very rude. The breakfast was good for a free breakfast but as we had the room next to the kitchen we were woken up at 6am due to the noise.
If walking from the train station: there is a passageway with 10 travelators/ escalators that cuts straight through the giant hill!!!! First escalator starts outside the big Pam supermarket. Would've been nice if we had this tip from the hostel - the alternative is an indirect winding uphill road that takes you around a wall and back again. Great breakfasts, nice big room, excellent location. Watch out for city tax €2,50 pp/night.
Absolutely beautiful house and great location! Our apartment was incredibly clean and safe with lots of space. The breakfast was included in our cost and was delicious. We traveled in a group of six and every one of us agreed that we would recommend Casa Di Alfredo to anyone we know who travels to Siena!
TERRIBLE After arriving in Siena at 6PM we attempted to check in. We rang the door, knocked and waited outside for 30 minutes...Nothing. We decided to wait at a local diner until 8pm in hopes the owner would show up. At 815PM we knocked, rang the door bell and waited for a response...Nothing again. We called the number and no response still. At this point, it was 9 PM and we were in a new city with no hotel. We had to do a last minute check in for $70 more 3 blocks away. Do not recommend!
I was here on a sudden short trip to Siena. The disability of the person who is in charge of the phone and email (the old woman) caused some misunderstanding and made me come without a room to stay. Luckily, with the helpful help and better English ability of the son (receptionist at the hostel), I was able to stay in another nearby hostel with the same price. However, they asked for 5 euros more for the Siena tax, which I find kinda strange as there is no document mentioning that tax. Yet, I

Positiv: Central location in front of the city gates and in between city and train station. Basic, but clean. Affordable price. The people cleaning our room were really nice. Negativ: Our room was next to the bathroom, which was quite noisy. Also above our room was the breakfast room and it was hard to sleep after breakfast started. A decent luggage storage would have been appreciated.
Very well situated just outside City gate, within easy walking of all sites. An interesting building and helpful staff
