The wi-fi worked very well. Breakfast was a pre-packaged croissant and cake thing with a juice box: not good. Room was hot with a dysfunctional fan keeping things tolerable. Place was clean. Convenient location, 5 minutes walk from the Termini train station. It didn't seem like a dangerous location, as indicated in previous reviews. It was clearly not a wealthy neighborhood and had some nearby homeless people, but that doesn't equate to dangerous. Nowhere to get water except bathroom sink.

There is no air conditioned , there is the comunal tax to add to the price we payed 12 euro for two people for three nights

Casa Ding was great for a few nights stay, it's very close to Termini which was great and we could walk all around town from where we were staying. Everything looks quite new (painting, bedhead, bathroom tiles) so it felt clean (thank god!) Staff were very nice and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised! Be careful around Termini, there are a lot of shady people so when we would leave the hotel at night, I had a few moments where I didnt feel that safe, but the hostal itself felt safe.

Staff was not welcoming, breakfast consisted of a small packaged croissant and a small box of juice with a straw, the bed linens had a humid smell and feel. I do not recommend this place, avoid if you can.

The room was large enough and always clean. Breakfast is simple (industrial croissant and can of juice) and crew clean and empty the trash everyday. The location is very good (50meters from Termini station) but it is easy to not feel very safe after 10pm even if nothing happened to us (single guys or small groups wandering around the little park towards S. Maria Maggiore).
