This place is absolutely adorable. The house and yard are beautiful. The staff is super sweet, heartfelt and attentive. Food is delicious and rooms are pretty. The walk to the beach is about 10 min, but it's actually nicer to stay a bit further away from all the shops and restaurants. The place is hard to find, so I suggest you follow the instructions given and everything will go smoothly. Will absolutely stay here on my next visit to Varkala! Definately recommendable!

The hostel is run by two friendly and welcoming ladies who are happy to help you in any way they can. They go over and above to make you feel at home. The accommodation is spotless as it is cleaned everyday. We had an amazing stay and really left as friends. Thank you for a lovely Christmas!!

My friend and I stayed four nights and really couldn't fault the place. Katrina and her team are friendly and helpful; we wished we had been around more to get to know them better. The house is tucked away from the main cliff/drag of shops and restaurants, but it's only a short walk away. Train station is about 10 mins by auto. Cool showers, which are fine in this heat. Mozzie net provided. Excellent local beer available - Palone, I think? Great breakfasts, too. And cake with chocolate sauce :)

We had a wonderful time there, the staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean, the location is just perfect. Close to everything, but still very quiet and peaceful. The food is excellent, you can eat spanish, indian, or tibetan. If you like coffee this is a perfect place for you. We would highly recommend the Casa Eva Luna for everybody.
