Well located hostel, maintained with good enough breakfast. Unfortunately, the staff (teenagers) was the worst I've seen in a while, hardly able to answer the basic questions we had (supermarket and what to see) without laughing at our faces. They invited over their friends and would loudly use the common areas all day long laughing and doing what childs do. Let's hope they were here for replacement only.
We stayed in the private room, which was bright and colorful, had a t.v. and bed was comfy. It's a small hostel, not too many people, which is nice and quiet. 2 bathrooms are clean. Kitchen is stocked. Breakfast was really good, with fruit, bread, juice and coffee. Internet didn't work in our room. Everything was good except for a party next door just outside our room and strange electronic music. Great location in the Unesco area. Staff is good, a bunch of quiet teenagers.
Nice quiet hostel in the heart of Valparaiso. Very handy for those who wish to visit this town and enjoy its nightlife. The family that lives there takes good care of the hostel and it is clean, tidy and fairly safe to leave your stuff. The only disadvantage is that it is far from the sunny beaches of Reñaca, Algarrobo etc. Viña del Mar is at only 20min by bus.
Very great hostel. I booked 2 nights & stayed 5. The staff makes you feel very welcome and helps you with anything you need. It's also in a great location in the heart of Valparaiso. The dorms are spacious and beds are comfy. The WiFi works great too.
We stayed at Casa Fisher for New Year's Eve in Valparaiso. We had a really great stay -- the place is clean and well-kept, the staff is friendly, and the rooms were comfortable. The staff hosted a lively and festive grill-out the evening of the New Years celebrations that was fairly priced, and provided delicious drinks and breakfasts. Also, the location is perfect for New Years or just exploring the historic districts! I'd stay here again for sure.

Safe and small hostels with very comfortable dorm beds. Nice breakfast and welcoming atmosphere due to the volunteers.
New hostalstaff wasn't well informed about the city, there should be someone local joining them for the first week to have good advices. but the staff was very friendly and help everywhere they could. the bathrooms should be cleaned more often, but that's just for perfection. the hostal itself it located perfectly in the historical centre and was pretty clean and has a great kitchen. breakfast was awesome cause of the extra fruits! Además está más económico q otros y tiene todo.
Perfect if you are looking for a homy, quiet atmospher

Small hostel close to the street art of Valparaiso. Healthy breakfast included. The hostel was rather quiet when we were there, might feel a bit cramped during high season. The hostel is very modern and clean. Worth a stay if you plan on visiting Valparaiso for two or three nights. Good value for the price you pay.
Good location and reasonably secure hostel. The staff were efficient but did not necessarily create a comfortable atmosphere all of the time. There were only 2 bathrooms which meant there was a lot of queuing for showers, and the rubbish bins weren't emptied as often as they needed to be. I enjoyed my stay but won't be returning.
The location is very good, lots of steps but you're very near the main plaza and the water. The staff were very friendly, it was a bit slow so they upgraded our room for no extra charge. Very nice! Everything was clean and the breakfast was good.
Cheap and nice hostel in the perfect location! Staff is very nice.. I like!
