Small hostel close to the street art of Valparaiso. Healthy breakfast included. The hostel was rather quiet when we were there, might feel a bit cramped during high season. The hostel is very modern and clean. Worth a stay if you plan on visiting Valparaiso for two or three nights. Good value for the price you pay.
Good location and reasonably secure hostel. The staff were efficient but did not necessarily create a comfortable atmosphere all of the time. There were only 2 bathrooms which meant there was a lot of queuing for showers, and the rubbish bins weren't emptied as often as they needed to be. I enjoyed my stay but won't be returning.
Cheap and nice hostel in the perfect location! Staff is very nice.. I like!
Beds are super comfy and wide. Good breakfast with fresh bread, fruit and juice. Fresh atmosphere, good vibe. Bathroom bins could be emptied more often, though. And you may have to wait for a toilet in the morning. Lockers won't fit your backpack but are fine for all your valuables, which is the main thing. I'd return to Casa Fischer.
Not a ton of atmosphere, but amazing location in one of the most beautiful cerros in valpo. Ideal if you are not relying on a hostel that has a lot of common space, bar, etc. people seem to keep to themselves
A very nice little hostel but felt like something was missing during our stay. Location and facilities are all great but there wasn't really any atmosphere during our stay, although that could be due to the lack of guests. Only two bathrooms and I never had proper hot water in the showers. Only a small annoyance but always nice to have hot water when the weather is cold. Staff were friendly enough.
This is a small hostel with a homely feel. You need to climb up some steep steps to get to it but it´s located in an atmospheric part of Valparaiso. The dorms are clean and comfortable and lockers are provided. Breakfast is better than average but isn´t served until 9am. The downstairs area is a good place to meet people but it is small and can feel a bit cramped at times. There are only 2 bathrooms as well so you may need to queue. The staff are friendly and there´s a good kitchen for guest use
A really nice small hostel at an excellent location. Beds was comfortable and breakfast good.
Really lovely hostel, one of the cleaniest hostels I've ever stayed in... The owners work really hard at this! Superb breakfast, which was civilised and relaxed. The beds were really comfortable and wide! Only small downside are the two bathrooms (toilets) for the whole hostel but with a bit of patience it's fine. This hostel had a really good feel to it; a great location, good kitchen, communal room and staff (awesome in a crisis)! Definitely stay here again in beautiful Valparaíso.
Nice house with comfy beds. Not must space for a communal area so everyone is on top of each other which is a shame. Would be a great place to stay if you are a group and can fill a room. Great location and very friendly, helpful staff. The noise is supposed to finish at 1200 as the house is so echoy but when I was there this rule was not adhered to which was pretty annoying tbh.
Very cute little hostel halfway up some colorful valparaiso stairs. Helpful staff, good breakfast, good showers (though only two) fine rooms, good kitchen. The smallness of the place seems to encourage social interaction in the common areas and it felt very homey. Downside is you can hear everything from everywhere but its not too bad. Good location in the heart of things, recommended!
