Small, crowded rooms with one locker per person. But there were tv room and one more fun room and quite big kitchen. In the kitchen was a cupboard with free food(like rice, pasta, spices- everything which was left after other people). Breakfast includes only bread, milk, jam, coffee, cereals, orange juice and stuff from the free food cupboard, not too much. We met there many great people! Stuff is very helpful as well

It was pretty good. No real big problems. Bed was comfortable. Big lockers. Good people staying at the hostel. Showers not that greatest, always flooded the bathrooms if you didnt pay attention.

Amazing experience at the hostel. Full of so many cool and interesting travelers. I was traveling alone but was able to meet tons of great people and do various day trips with them. It's on the east coast of Tenerife (windy side) so great for all those water sports. Easily accessible by bus if you're going without a car. Friendly staff, good common space, and plenty of solid recommendations for activities on the island.

i thought casa surf grande was a very nice hostel and quite clean (except for the bathroom floor being constantly wet thanks to bad drainage) but the staff was pretty unhelpful. we asked basic traveler questions (ie when do busses go to the north and if there was any way for us to get to teide for some hiking) and they had absolutely no idea. their answers were usually "i don't know" or "go ask someone else".

Great location. Staff weren't that helpful (more concerned with playing games on the reception computer than helping us). one of the showers leaks water under the dorm door (!) but they're getting on that now I think. They were fully booked when we stayed but there was never a wait for a shower which was good. It's a fine place to stay just for a couple of nights.

I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely stay again but I think a little thought needs to go into the design of the bathrooms, we got back one afternoon and someone was showering and the water was flooding into our room getting whatever stuff was on the floor wet, and one of the guests was mopping it up. Other than that, was great. Fantastic location great atmosphere and friendly staff

Location, location, location It doesn't get any better for a trip away from it all. El mèdano isn't big, but that's where it's charm lies And this hostel lets you access it all With activities/parties/food most nights, it has something for everyone But that doesn't mean you can't sleep. If I go back to Tenerife this is where I'll stay.

Staff was frequently unavailable. My friends and I would go to the front desk to ask for something, and no one would be at the desk. This is really the only complaint I have about the hostel.
