It's a great place, located near the galleria dell'accademia. Big space, big bed, your own bathroom, and very comfortable for a very good prize. Also the staff is very kind and will give you indications around the city.

I wish double bed wasn't separated tho

I would recommend Casa Micol to everybody. It was very clean, the room was beautiful and the staff was very nice and helpful. The location is perfect - close to the train station and the historic centre. We really enjoyed it!

The hotel is a house with rented rooms. Beds were really, really bad. There was someone of the staff smoking on the reception (inside the house). Internet didn't work most of the time and for some reason the cleaning lady thought we were leaving on the wrong day and threw some of our things on the trash (also I had to go to reception to take back shampoo, soap, etc). Also, there was sometimes noise of construction on some floor below.

We waited until midnight to be let in and no one showed up. This was also after someone told us they were coming. We had to look for another hotel which was more expensive and on top of that they wouldn't refund us our deposit. Not a reliable notel and wouldn't go back.

Its very near the station (10-15 min walk), the major landmarks are also in walking distance more or less (Florence isn't that big), the WiFi may have iffy connection at time, but works fine in general, the rooms are clean and well equipped and the staff is very helpful and cooperative. You wouldn't expect more than this for the amounts they charge, so overall, its quite an excellent value for money.
