The place is old which makes it difficult to keep clean - the whole place needs a facelift but that will cost a lot of money. The location was excellent though and the staff helped you out with anything you needed from new towels, tours and bus tickets.

Great location and I love the blanket fort privacy curtains on the beds! One of the cheapest options in the old city (which is quite expensive), but a bit decrepit and unclean. Tiny kitchen that's difficult for two people to use at once. Could have been a bit more of an atmosphere also. Decent overall

Excellent location in the old town and very cheap dorm. The dorms differ hugely though - the 9 bed dorm has 3 triple bunks and is quite basic. Other dorms much nicer with privacy curtains etc. Wifi good and helpful staff. If you want somewhere cheap to stay in the old town I would recommend this place but only stay in the 9 bed dorm if heights don't bother you, the top bunk is a long way up!

9 bed dorm- 3 story bunks that kinda squeak, ac is good! Little lockers. Comfy beds. No curtains around bed 8 bed dorm- privacy curtains around beds, big locker next to each bed. Great ac. Some of the most comfy beds we slept on! 2 bathrooms and 2 showers upstairs (good water pressure) where the 8 bed dorms are Small but usable kitchen Fantastic location only 10 min walk away from free walking tour start Good for price paid

Great backpackers hostel, very helpful staff and the cleaning lady Marta is amazing. Perfect location, great price. The common areas are lacking a bit and the kitchen could use an upgrade.

Great locay, and so awsome for vegetarians cos Restaurante Girasoles is on the next corner. I think its kinda expensive, but maybe everything is in this city? A+ for letting me leave my bag there for three nights when i went to Baru. Um i guess only drainer is there isnt a nice big communal space for hangs. Otherwise, all questions answered, safe, and pretty peaceful.

It needs a good clean, all the hostel. Bed sheets very old. Broken furniture.

A really well located hostel with a nice vibe. The dorm rooms had a clever way of storing your bags in a lockable cupboard behind your head, each containing a plug so you can charge your phone or camera.

Not all of the staff speaks english. Lot of easy questions (ex. When does the supermarket open) couldnt not be answered. The lady gave us completely wrong time information for the daytrip and i almost missed my bus! The hostel was okay but the people at the reception was a no go!

Dorms are not equipped with reading lights as they say and the built in lockers are a bit awkward to get into. Privacy curtains are wonderful. Whole place could use a good overall cleaning.Staff are wonderful and friendly. Let me leave my bag behind for two weeks while went to some islands. I would stay here again even though it's a bit pricey. The staff make it worth it.

Amazing!!! Do I need to say more? :)

I liked this hostel. I was looking for a quiet place and found what I was looking for. It is in one of the side streets in the old town, close to San Diego place where you can spend the evenings and nights, have a snack and a beer and get into contact with locals and other travellers. The hostel offers free coffee in the morning which is great. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The common area could be cosier and more welcoming. But all it all it was really nice to stay there.

Good location in the old Cartagena.
