This is a super friendly hostel . Well located and safe. Clean and with some nice set up for locking your staff and with little curtains to secure your privacy while sleeping. Good value for money as everything in Cartagena is very expensive

Great place, we stayed at a few places in Cartagena and I'd rate this place as up there. Staff are relaxed and helpful. Also there is aircon at night which is crucial, some of the other places didn't have it and its near impossible to sleep in less you're heavily inebriated. If you're after a quiet, easy going place, it's good.

Casa Nativa is located in a very nice street with colorfull flowers and close to main plazas, exito and beach. Staff if very friendly and they are helping you in organizing playa Blanco an Santa Marya trip. The dorms are comfortable and gave privacy with cover curtains. There is no electricity plugs in the room, you have to wait for charging in public area. Bathrooms are small to wear the clothes after shower but clean. We stayed in return of Santa Marta. Recommended

beautiful little hostel close to everything.... Carlos and Juan Carlos are 2 nice guys always ready to help and with a big smile on their face all the time. The curtain on each bed let you have some privacy and in a dorm this is a plus.. Really clean and in the small kitchen you find everything you need to cook. Just love it. The hostel was pretty good, excellent location, well organized rooms and clever and comfortable design for the beds. Juan Carlos is a great host giving us advices directions and everything we needed. The other long haired guy not so much, did not want to do much for our big seven people group to sleep together so we has to do arrangements with other hosts which thankfully were more responsive. Very recommended, the curtains on the beds add a privacy touch you wouldn't expect.

I liked the privacy curtains and lockers built into each bed. Carlos Andres (owner) was great. Other staff (partner?) was indifferent. Great location, right near two lovely plazas.

I loved staying here! It is in the perfect location for exploring charming Cartagena and in a very safe area. The hostel has curtains to cover each bed which is a nice touch of privacy. They also provide lockers with built in keys that are above each bed which was convenient and secure. The staff was amazing and even took us out one night and showed us where some locals hung out, which was awesome. Overall I highly recommend it!

Staff super friendly, nice comfortable beds and a locker for your stuff. Also very close to everything.. It was a little expensive and showers were small and not very private but all in all a good place to stay.

What Casa Nativa does not have in facilities, it more than makes up for in character. Carlos and Felipe are both great guys and really helped make my stay at the hostal a memorable one. We even went out for beers on my first night. It has a relaxed atmosphere, with a slightly more mature crowd. The area is very safe, and all the beds have their own private locker adjacent to the bed. Only recommendation I would make, would be to have another computer available for guests to use.

Really good place. Good staff. The kitchen is not really clean and smell bad. But the bed are confortable and the location is so perfect!

Great location right in the middle of the beautiful walled city. Plenty of shops, restaurants, supermarket nearby etc.good kitchen facilities.No Laundry in the hostel but you can bring it to another hostel 10 minutes away. The people working there made it for us. They were very friendly and always happy to help. The dorms were spacious, the beds larger than normal for single beds with cool little curtains for privacy. Bathroom and shower could be improved but it's not a reason not to stay.

Nice hostel situated in the old town. staff were very helpfull and inormative. Overpriced but not vastly for what you get but very nice if you have no alternative or have more money to spare.

Great hostel with great staff, very friendly. Big lockers, clean rooms... Even let us stream the NBA on their TV. Walking distance to a lot of cool stuff. Great place, well worth the reputation

Excellent Hostel, great location in the old town. Staff were great even did not charge me for 2nd night when I had to change plans. Beds are super comfy. really enjoyed my stay there.

Bunk beds are luxe - they are floor-to-ceiling "boxes" with curtains all around and big wooden cabinets for your luggage, locks already provided. The guys who work there, esp Carlos, were SO nice to me. I had to go back when I got stuck in Colombia 2 extra days after missing my flight. Carlos comforted me when I was crying, offered me beer and then let me hog the computer to work all day. The building is nothing special but the atmosphere is great cause of the friendly and helpful staff!

lo mejor era el chico que sabia mucho, tenia todos los detalles para ayudarnos. Tener una cortinas de la cama es excelente, dado el calores bueno tener mas privacidad! No tengo quejas, era muy bueno, y volveremos!
