lo mejor era el chico que sabia mucho, tenia todos los detalles para ayudarnos. Tener una cortinas de la cama es excelente, dado el calores bueno tener mas privacidad! No tengo quejas, era muy bueno, y volveremos!

Juan Carlos (the owner) and Carlos Andrés (vigilant staff member) are just the greatest and care deeply about the guests at Casa Nativa. The location of this hostel is perfect, easy, and safe. Great prices and honest business.

Good atmosphere and helpful staff but there are many things that must to be fixed. There are no locks in the shower doors. The kitchen is a little bit messy all the time and the tables are very unstable, it is difficult to eat there.

The staff on my arrival were very helpful and spent time answering all my questions. Later when I needed to secure a booking to travel elsewhere in the country they took time to help me find the best option which I really appreciated. I felt that any question I had they were always very open and willing to help. The beds with the curtains and lockers need to the bunk was an addtional feature which worked well.

Great location and very friendly staff. Bathroom bins could be emptied more frequently and the rooms need some power points. But great privacy curtains and an absolute delight to stay in. Stayed here twice and would gladly do it again.

Lovely old building and great location. Just a shame that the place feels like the grown-ups have gone away and left their teenage kids to look after the place. None of the bathroom doors lock properly, the kitchen is a state, furniture is broken and the whole place feels neglected. A real shame because this beautiful building has real potential.

Excellent location in the old town. Staff were helpful and friendly, although a little disorganised with our beds. The curtains over the beds are a nice idea, but some power points in the dorm would be more useful. An 8 bed dorm with no power points? Come on. And only 1 in the common area. Where are you supposed to charge your stuff? Kitchen is small but adequate. A nice little place but i think its a tad overpriced for what you get.

I am actually still at Casa Nativa because I loved it so much, I extended my stay. Carlos is such a sweetie, the vibe is chilled and it's one of the few hostels in Cartagena where you can actually get some sleep. A lot of the others are very noisy but this is tucked away on a quieter street. Great WIFI and air-con. Curtains round the beds, nice touch! Go to La Balcon next door for cheap, delicious food and free WIFI, and the English/Colombian owners will give you an English brekkie!

Great little hostel. Excellent staff. Perfect if you want to be close to the center of things but still be able to sleep.

The staff was very friendly and helpful in every way Loved the privacy curtains and lockers on the beds On a quieter street (slept better) but still near everything in old town Need to improve the bathrooms tho

The staff and indeed the owner are lovely. However, I feel that Casa Nativa could do with a little more care and attention. Painting, tidyness, changing of the bathroom bins, the clear glass on the shower room door is interesting ... to be honest it looks as though you have taken your eye off the ball and are just quite happy to coast along !!! However the large lockers were amazing.

The hostel and the staff were wonderful and I would stay here again. My only feedback would be to improve the bathrooms and privacy for female guests. The kitchen and common areas were great and I would recommend staying here long term as you are away from the hustle of getsemani and dont have to deal with the noise or uncleanliness of being amongst party-goers.
