As written in other reviews here, I can confirm that the food is outstanding (check out the shrimp pizza!).... but for me the biggest selling point of this place is Stuart. A natural host with a genuine passion for what he does and clearly doing what he does for all of the right reasons. You really feel like a spoilt guest in his home.
Stewart was an excellent host. This is a small guest house with only a few rooms. The location next to the water was good for reading in a hammock. I would highly recommend his food. We tried the soup and pizza and both were great. We only wished that breakfast was included. The properly hot shower was a nice change as well.
Casa Nostra provided a welcoming retreat during our recent visit to Livingston. The owner and his wife provided a home like environment taking time to explain the town, the country of Guatemala and the complexities of travel. We didn't have adequate information on getting to our next destination, Copan Ruinas. However, they did some research by calling friends and helped us map out the whole journey on local transport. They also provide food that can't be beat: pizza and breakfast!
