Casa Ortega is the brand-new B&B just in front of Saint Charles Station.
Cultivating the beauty of each detail and a true sense of hospitality, this is a guest house unlike any other. Ideally located on a quaint street across from Marseilles' Saint Charles train station, and just a short walk from the Old Port, this comfortable bed and breakfast blends the quality services of a hotel with the authentic charm of a maison d'htes and a vibrant international ambiance.
Along with the warm, attentive welcome and stylish decor, we have five luminous rooms with retro 20th-century furnishings, lovingly unearthed by your host, an aficionado of the second-hand shops and village sales of Provence.
Each room has its own entrance and a private bathroom and toilet, along with a flat-screen television, Wi-Fi and reversible air conditioning. Breakfast is served in a pleasant communal dining area and can be eaten quickly at the counter or while seated at beautiful Parisian bistro tables.
We have a central and practical location in the heart of downtown Marseille, on a quiet street which is conveniently located and easy to reach. We're just two minutes by foot from the Saint Charles train station (TGV, local trains) and the bus station (Aix-en-Provence; airport shuttles), four minutes by foot to the tramway, the metro, and the famous boulevard La Canebire, and ten minutes by foot to the Old Port and the city's historic district.
Please note that our rates do not include a tourist tax of 0.40 per person per night, due on arrival.

David the host is well organised has a lot of local knowledge that is very usefull when visiting a city like Marseille for just two days. The decoration is very tastefully done and above all the security is very good. We had a room with a balcony which was tops. We certainly recommend Casa Ortega.

This property has a 1 day cancellation policy.Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.
Things to Note
Reception is only open from 4pm to 7.30pm, so please check your arrival time. If you are arriving outside of these times please contact us ahead of time to make arrangements. Check-out: 11am. Payment is due upon arrival, in cash only please; no credit cards. Luggage storage is available in Saint Charles Station from 8.15am to 9pm at Gate A, for �5.50 to �9.50. Breakfast is served in the dining room from 7:30am to 10am on weekdays and from 8:30am to 10.30am on weekends. Please note that our rates do not include a tourist tax of 40 cents (EUR) per person per night, due on arrival.
