This place is an absolute gem! I couldn't reccomend it enough! It is more of a very cozy hotel/hostel hydrid. The rooms are perfect with lovely views of sweet french streets and the beautiful Marseille train station. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the station and 5-10 minute walk to the from water. The owner Caroline is the sweetest! She made us feel so at home and took great are of us! She speaks English if you need and also gives you a map and excellent recommendations. Breakfast is amazing

Proprietor was not even there when we arrived. No other staff was there either. A man I didn't know anything about from across the street said he could let us in. My thought: who is this man and why does he have a key to this place? After seeing the broken liquor bottles and homeless people in the area we decided there was no way we could feel comfortable staying there. Accommodations may have been better inside but definitely a deplorable location.

Cute B&B with very helpful hosts. Lots of choice for breakfast. It was good being close to the station but there wasn't much to see or do in the immediate vicinity.

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was wonderful, the colours, the furniture. The deluxe room was very spacious with a high ceiling. Bonus points for the extra services that offered snorkelling kits for les calanques and pick-nick food. The breakfast was also very good, the only thing we missed where boiled eggs. The service from the staff was also great giving personal tips to some great places in Marseilles. We would highly recommend Casa Ortega.

Comme toujours hébergement très agréable et le management est conviviale et prêt à donner d'assistance à la clientèle.

Case ortega was lovely. The location is great, just near the station and easy walking distance to all the sites. Caroline also gave us some great advice and gave fantastic restaurant recommendations.
