The family who owned Casa Perla were lovely, but it was definitely like staying in someone's house, not a hostel.

We booked a doubble room for three days and got a five-bed room. Other people had the same problem, some of them slept in a tent outside in the garden. It was a problem to cook after 9 oclock pm in the kitchen, because the lady (the owner) sent the people out, because she prepared the breakfast table for the next day. As we asked the owner why we can not get a double room we booked, she told us its a problem with the firm hostelworld, they made a mistake.

I had an awesome stay at Casa Perla. Sadly I could stay just one night. But it was New Years Eve and I was offered to take part in the familys dinner and New Years Eve celebration. We had a great evening with some other Hostel guests. Perla and her family are so welcoming, helpful and even invited me to come along on an afternoon activity. I will definitely come back!
