The music that the person at the reception was putting was so loud that we couldn't talk to each other in the central area. When we arrived, we asked about touristic tours to visit the city, and the employee told us he didn't know anything and gave us a paper that didn't even had the right information on it. The breakfast was horrible, the bathrooms didn't smell well, one night they ran out of water so the toilets couldn't flush, and people weren't nice either. I personally hated it.

This hostel is full of mexican decorative touches & character, promising a fun atmosphere. However, I found the staff continually changed, so I did not know who to direct my queries to, they played very loud music at any hour of the day, on repeat...and I came away with 15 + bites over my body from sleeping in the not very comfortable dorm beds. Perhaps if you are party hostel inclined, and not terribly fussed about privacy or sleep, then this is ideal. For me, it was not.

Cute hostel in a great location just a few blocks from the various squares that comprise the city center. Beds have privacy curtains - a big plus - and the TV room is cozy. Breakfast is rather pathetic, however. Cereal and bread but they don't even have coffee! (At least they didn't when I was there.)

Casa San Gallito is one of the best things about Queretaro! The decoration of the hostel is just amazing and also the staff. There's a very good atmosphere of friendship and fun. It's localized in the heart of Queretaro's historic center, so you can walk all over the turistic points from the hostel. Theres music, laugh and talking all the time!

Had the most amazing stay at San Gallito, beautiful house with a great location in the center of Querétaro! The staff is the friendliest, coolest and most awesome a hostel has ever seen! I will come back as soon as possible =)

I was alone in a room and several clothes disappeared! I saw a girl of the staff with one of my sweater on her and they denied (while the brand isn't even sold outside Europa!). No hot water for the shower, no internet in the second building. I will never go there again.
