This hostel is perfectly located in a really cool area. I guess it could be an awesome place but the draw back is that there is no sound proofing in the rooms and it is possible to hear everything in the common room at all hours of the morning. When we were staying at the hostel we were unlucky in that some guests decided to have a party in their room until all hours of the morning. The staff asked them to be quiet, as did some of the other guests, but alcohol was more persuasive.
Very cool feel to the hostel with a quirky layout, huge bright atrium, large room with high ceiling and a tv with lots of channels. The kitchen was well equipped. Location of the bathrooms through the kitchen was a bit weird. Great location of hostel close to everything. Very friendly and informative staff. Fine in summer but imagine it would be freezing in winter.
I thought the hostel overall was very grubby. Needs a good clean. Beds too soft, leaves you with a bad back in the morning. Downstairs rooms are terrible - no fresh air in mine, too cold and damp, noisy.

Cheap but not that cheerful. Needs a lick of paint and a lot of care and attention to be up to the standard of other hostels in the city and in Chile generally.
Excellent location! Would have been nice if a simple breakfast was included, but there was free tea/coffee 24/7. One of the bathrooms was a little worn out and hot water was erratic.
Really cool, fits in with the whole Valpo theme. Definitely would recommend.
A fresh painting and really some efforts on the showers would make it thousand times better ! Otherwise the hostel is okay.
When I arrived, they said they didn´t have a bed for me after all, and that they had arranged for me to go to another hostel. That would have been fine, although annoying, hadn´t it been for the other hostel being incredibly shabby, while still charging more than I was due to pay at Verde Limon.

Very nice, charming and quiet hostel in a good location in Valparaiso. I would recommend it for couples, not so much if you are travelling alone and want to meet people. The place was very clean and the kitchen well-equipped.
Great hostel with great atmosphere. Hangout area was awesome to meet people. Felt like you were living in a house with friends. Old place so the facilities were a bit dilapidated, but somewhat clean. Great location.
We had a great time at this hostel, it was very homely, the kitchen is well equipped and a good size. The showers often ran out of hot water but it wasn't a major hassle. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location! Would stay again!
