CasaVlaska - * The Luxury of a Home, The Price of a Hostel *
Casa Vlaska offers decadent, private luxury in the center of Zagreb, for a low price!
We are near Kvaternikov Trg, only a 10 minute walk to the Center Square of town - Trg Ban Jelacic- and only 20 meters from Trams stops that will take you almost anywhere in the city.
We are a tiny hostel - usually there are less than 4 people staying here, and that means you will not have to share a bathroom with many people, it is not a place for meeting people. If, on the other hand, you want a very clean, private place to sleep closer to the center than most other hostels, This is the place for you.
It was a simple 2 bedroom apartment with nearly 60,000 Euros in recent 'luxury' renovations that we simply turned into a hostel.
The kitchen is fully equipped with lots of utensils, plates, pots, pans, knives, glassware, etc.
The bathroom has a shower with 8 jets, we have heated floors, a dishwasher, brand new washer and dryer, Juicer machine, 4 blenders, food processor, gas stove, convection oven, 2 x 42" flat screen monitors for use with your laptops, etc. (an apple computer available for your use if you like)
The deluxe room has 1, 2 or 3 beds, depending on your needs, with an organic cotton mattresses, super-comfortable luxury pillows blankets, and a beautiful plant filled balcony overlooking historic Vlaska street.
You will get your own keys, so you have security and no curfew!
The standard room offers quiet privacy with a double bed, and the same luxurious pillows and blankets.
Coffee and a selection of teas (with cookies)are available in the morning for snacking.
The wireless internet here is 2.5 TIMES faster than regular high speed internet (1024kbps) - so download your heart out.
100% cotton, over-sized bath towels and bathrobes are available.

I really liked the uncomplicated and friendly atmosphere in the hostel. In my view this was not a usual "hostel", but it was a whole flat you share with one other double-bedroom. Likewise, there will never be more than three persons using kitchen and bathroom, making a clean and cheap stay at Zagreb possible. Also, I liked the small balkony which had sun right from the morning. The room was much larger than I needed and the ventilation system worked well, so I felt very comfotable living there.
