From the moment I walked into this hostel, I felt very uncomfortable. The staff gave me lingering stares before they spoke to me. The couple who checked me in bickered in front of me and the woman answered her cell phone in the middle of my tour. The man made creepy comments to me and his wife even told him he was creeping me out. I asked to cancel my third night and she said no, I would have to pay full price. Then they had me sign a waiver waiving any loss or injury. I left 40 mins later.
I loved my stay in the private room. The internet was spotty and not high speed in the bedroom, maybe it was faster downstairs. The large shared bathroom had water pressure problems and not much hot water when I needed it, however, the small shared bathroom had NO PROBLEMS and was very clean. Plenty of towels, sheets and blankets. There was free parking, but the spaces were tight. The staff is very friendly and helped with maps and sights. This is a funky, beachy hostel--character!
