Very nice hostel in Faro. The 12 beds dormitory does not feel overwhelming because it is kind of separated to divide the room in two. The beds are REALLY comfortable, the rooms are clean, the staff is nice and the sangria-BBQ party was amazing. It is also well located, near the Igreja do Carmo, the old part of Faro, the marina, the place from where The ferry leaves for the ilha deserta and kind of near thé bus station. The place in front the hostel is so cute!

There were a few minor details that could be improved, but I preferred communicating them to the fantastic staff than publish them here. I´m pretty sure it would take them less than a day to take care of them. Of all hostels I´ve ever stayed in, this was the most wonderful hostel experience ever!!!

Fantastic open spaced Hostel. Very tall ceilings and several great hang-out areas (including two outdoor courtyards, and a rooftop - Nice variety if you smoke). If you're travelling alone, you'll have no problem socialising as everywhere in the hostel is a potential meeting spot. Staff are all lovely and social (Hi Claudia, Karina, Diogo!). Even in a large dorm, you won't feel claustrophobic due to the size and design. Comfy beds (with thick duvets). Evening meals well worth it. We loved it x

Good hostel to stay in. Close everything by feet. Very helpfull staff members. We stayed in the 12 beds dorm and it was very spacious and comfortable. Diner and animation (try the Jam bar) organised every night at the hostel.

I had a really great time in Casa d'Lagoa and Faro... It was my first time in a Hostel and I certainly I will do it again. The staffs, the beds, the place, the beaches, the night life, etc... all of them are amazing! Big hugs folks from Casa d'Lagoa

The hostel is great! The dinners they offer every night offer a great opportunity to build community and meet people during your stay. It was a great place, and I'm sad that we had to leave!

Casa D'Alagoa was amazing! They have a DELICIOUS dinner every night which is great for meeting new people and somebody to take you out in Faro each night, as well. A great community vibe and a very clean place. There were a lot of cute sitting areas as well, which was perfect for the sunny weather.

great located hostel, very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. to get into your room you have to cross the lounge and the kitchenarea where you will always meet people sitting around, it's a great way to get in touch and perfect for people who travel alone. one negative thing was that our bathroom wasn't cleaned. there were lots of hair on the floor and dirt in the shower, but if you're not too delicate you can clean it yourself. could be worse. big plus: the 24h beer pump!! we will come back

Very cosy hostel. Provided all basic needs and a few little luxuries: free wifi, optional meal cooked by chef. Only negative points were bathrooms: no shower fitting so you have to hold shower head in your hand as you use it; and (frosted) glass doors. The dormitories could use some form of locker to secure your items if you would like to leave them in the room. A little note: our door was extremely noisy to open/close, so if anyone went out to the bathroom in the night, it would wake the room
