Took a break from the hostel scene to enjoy a legitimate hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful, the rooms were lovely with good showers, and the courtyard was a great place to hang out. Breakfast is also more than bread and jam (it includes cheese, olives, and juice), and for 5 soles extra you can get the best pancakes! Also, even though the site says they don't hold luggage, we left our luggage while we did a 2-day Colca trek with no problem (although we did stay there again on our return)
Very nice staff. It was my mom birthday and they helped me a booking a very good restaurant and a cake to celebrate.
Very friendly and helpful staff and beautiful hostel. The gardens were lovely and breakfast was very good. Not a hugely social hostel though. My only real criticism is that our room was not cleaned once in 3 days which was disappointing, especially when the bin full of used toilet paper needs emptying!
This was the nicest place we stayed in all of our three week trip in Peru. It is so beautiful, the staff is the nicest, breakfast is huge, and the location is great. We thought it would be far from the center, but it was a very short walk to the main plaza. We also did the cooking class, which was really fun!
This was a splurge for us on a backpacker budget, but well worth it and good value. The facilities were great (nice breakfast, good WiFi, yoga and Spanish classes and cable tv in our room). This was a great place to chill out for a couple of days.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is really lovely. The central garden is a wonderful place to hide from the busy city outside. We returned to the hotel after a visit to the Colca Canyon and booked a further 5 nights so we could further enjoy the city and take some Spanish lessons (offered by the hotel). I'm sure there are cheaper places to stay within the city but this place is just so lovely that we are enjoying every minute of our stay.
