Brilliant place to stay. Rooms are basic. We had a private double with ensuite, nothing flash but very comfortable. Garden is BRILLIANT!! Also did a cooking class which was great. Staff were super helpful and absolutely lovely. My only complaint - the rooms are hot. Really reallyyyyyy hot! We needed to get up during the night between 2-5am every night to open the front door and let air in to cool down. Maybe some fly screens would help mozzies from coming in also when they are open?
This place was very nice. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly. There was a large garden to hang out in with great wifi. The breakfast was standard and the location was only a few blocks from the main square - maybe a 10 minute walk. Overall a great stay and I would recommend.
We loved that the staff allowed us to practice our Spanish and were very patient and friendly. The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere and breakfast was good, but there seemed to be not enought cups and plates..
Took a break from the hostel scene to enjoy a legitimate hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful, the rooms were lovely with good showers, and the courtyard was a great place to hang out. Breakfast is also more than bread and jam (it includes cheese, olives, and juice), and for 5 soles extra you can get the best pancakes! Also, even though the site says they don't hold luggage, we left our luggage while we did a 2-day Colca trek with no problem (although we did stay there again on our return)
Very nice staff. It was my mom birthday and they helped me a booking a very good restaurant and a cake to celebrate.
Very friendly and helpful staff and beautiful hostel. The gardens were lovely and breakfast was very good. Not a hugely social hostel though. My only real criticism is that our room was not cleaned once in 3 days which was disappointing, especially when the bin full of used toilet paper needs emptying!
This was the nicest place we stayed in all of our three week trip in Peru. It is so beautiful, the staff is the nicest, breakfast is huge, and the location is great. We thought it would be far from the center, but it was a very short walk to the main plaza. We also did the cooking class, which was really fun!
