Gorgeous little place with really helpful owner. I stayed for 3 nights and will go back again when I go to Barcelona. I had a single room with shared bathroom and the room was just lovely. Great ambiance here and great value for money!

Everything and everybody was good. We appreciate the upgrade of the bedroom. Only downside was lack of private bath. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

My mom and I stayed only one night at Casa de Billy, but would have gladly stayed longer if we could have. The staff was more than helpful and accommodating. The minute we arrived, we were offered cold ice water and a map to guide us around the city. We loved the bathrobes we had waiting for us in our rooms. By far, this was the best place we stayed during our trip around Spain. We would definitely book here again on our visit.

After staying in a variety of hostels throughout Europe, Casa de Billy was a welcomed sight. The place had so much character and extremely clean and nice. The staff went out of their way to ensure the quality of our stay, which was excellent. Truly a hostel among hostels. I'd highly recommend it.

It was GREAT. It's a very beautiful and charming place with both privacy (private rooms and private bathroom) and possibilty to share moments with other people in very enjoyable saloon and living room. People who receive you are extremely welcoming and warmful. I have no doubt I will come back here soon !

Location is good as it is near to the Arena which houses plenty of restaurants n a mall. It is also near to the Metro. Breakfast comprising coffee, orange juice n a croissant is provided. Joaquim n Billy are very helpful.

I had the room with sharing bathroom, That was not so luxe but my own choice. Staff was very friendly and i had a realy good time. For travellers from train with metro: it is a long way walk insite metro and there are many stairs so maybe better take a taxi. Breakfast Nice expirience with music from opera.

Siri was great. He was kind enough to stay up late to make sure I got in. He gave me GREAT tips for the city. I've stayed at hostels all over the world and this is the only one that had a perfect single room. It's also the cleanest hostel I've ever stayed at. And I didn't even expect a breakfast but we got one, in an AMAZING dining room. I wish I had known to pay in cash beforehand though, hate going to the ATM abroad. If I ever go back to Barcelona, def. returning to Casa Billy, I loved it.

Really enjoyed our stay. stayed in one of the single standard rooms and also the shared double on the superior floor. The flats were so clean and beautifully done. We really enjoyed the sun terrace on the superior floor. The staff were super friendly and nice. Even getting up in the middle of the night to help us when we had the misfortune of getting stuck in the lift. (our own fault us and luggage we were probably too heavy)

A very pleasant stay, comfortable bed, and very helpful and friendly hosts. Simple but tasty breakfast, and access to a kitchen so guests can store and prepare their own food. Close to metros, so only a few minutes to the old centre of the city. I would stay again.

This was a true home away from home! Thank you to Siri and Joaquin for being the warmest and most caring hosts one could wish for. The central location, with easy access to the airport, to all the tourist sites, for local tapas bars and coffee shops, excellent shopping opportunities, we could not have found better. The ambience and tasteful furnishings compelled us to linger longer!

We loved it. We had Siri there to help us and he did a fantastic job. The breakfast is VERY small, but very very delicious, the coffee is fantastic, and the Juice and tea as well. The rooms and bathrooms a kept very clean, even the shared one for the shared rooms. I personally would ask for a room with a window to outside because I did not like the room my friends stayed in that was near the elevator, which was the lower end room. As far as barcelona goes it is very inexpensive. Go there.

A wonderfull option if you are staying in barcelona. We will be backnthere another time.

Excellent on all counts - will recommend to friends and family. Staff very welcoming and helpful - nothing too much trouble. Great atmosphere and met interesting fellow travellers with whom we shared the 5th floor apartment. There were 3 bedrooms on this floor. Only 1 was en-suite and we shared the bathroom with occupant of single room - this was not a problem as everything was spotless. These 3 bedrooms also shared sitting room, kitchen, dining area and terrace. Will definitely stay here again.

Absolutely fabulous - great location, lovely staff and beautiful accommodation

We loved out stay at the Casa Billy! We were greeted by Siri who sat down with us at the elegant dining room table, and gave us his complete attention. That was the beginning of a very lovely stay. We felt very cared for. The surroundings were old and yet ornate and luxurious in some ways. The shared bathrooms were clean and had all the essentials. The breakfasts were whole-grain crossants served with fresh tea and coffee served by Joachim in a friendly and caring way.

Very Friendly Staff. Special thanks to Joaquin. He is very friendly. It is not too far from Plaza Cataluna. About 20 mins walk. Although Metro is right next to it as well. If you want something away from tourist hussle bustle. It is a nice place to stay. It has lot of nice resturants and bars around it. Overall it was a great experience staying there. Would definitely stay there again !

The friendliest place in town?! So pleased we chose to stay, v pleased with our 4th floor en suite room with fantastic views over the Gran Via. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff Siri
