Even though I've stayed in hostels all across Europe, I found this place unbearable - it was drafty and cold and I couldn't sleep on the uncomfortable beds. I went somewhere else. The woman in the office refused to give me a refund for the nights I wouldn't be staying, but moving to another hotel was worth it because I actually got to sleep. My advice: pay an extra $20-30 a night for the Travelodge on Rene Levesque, or look for deals elsewhere. This is not a good hotel/hostel.

Nice and cozy place with great price. Located in downtown, the owner and the other service people are so friendly, nice and helpful. Within the convinent distance from the subway and the old port area in Montreal, it is fabulous place to experience.
