The staff are very courteous and kind. When they couldn't deliver our free breakfast on the second day due to shorter opening hours, they delivered the breakfast on the night before.

Great size of room, and nice to have a fridge... although it seems to make a noises in the middle of the night. Mattress seemed a little hard, but apart from that it was an enjoyable stay.

Cannot fault Casa de Mateo. It was immaculately clean, the breakfast that is included as part of your stay is a wonderful spread. The room was large, had a kitchenette, it was really more of a hotel. BRILLIANT location, the Basilica was right outside my window. Loved it!

It was exactly what I expected for the price. Very average - nothing impressive but nothing to complain about either. The staff is rarely around but are helpful enough when they are. Bathrooms could be improved, but they were clean. The included breakfast was delicious, and the vibe from the restaurant is quite charming. The most important thing though - the location is amazing!! Minutes away from Rue Saint-Paul. Overall a pleasant weekend stay. =)
