Quaint hostel, but a bit dilapidated; could use a handyman. Quiet at night with just the sounda of the river rapids in the back rooms. Good location by the Rio Tomebamba and a few blocks from Parque Calderon. (And that´s about it for Cuenca.) Staff is very friendly, limited english. Water hot but pressure erratic. Breakfast was simple, but ample. (We had cafe, bread, jam, juice, egg, sliced fruit.) ´Hostel family was on ´guest´ computer a LOT.Quaint hostel, but a bit dilapidated; could use a handyman. I wouldn\'t stay here again, the rooms was tiny, no mirror..and not very clean. But most of all the breakfast was disappointing, 1 piece of bread, a juice and coffee that\'s it and I had to pay extra because I asked for one more piece..I wouldn\'t stay here again, the rooms was tiny, no mirror..and not very clean. Overall a nice stay the staff is helpful and quick to react to requests. Avery nice view of the river with breakfast every morning.
