Nice hostel. Lots of character. Dorm beds are very cool. Bathrooms were fairly good. Internet worked. Hot water was a little unreliable. Lockers in room were decent. Kitchen was quite good and breakfast was decent. Side Note: Esquel is BORING!

I would definitely go back to stay here! The breakast is great since they make their bread fresh each night. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the kitchen is the cleanest one I have seen in a hostel. Overall a great experience!

I had a great stay in Casa del Pueblo between 17/02/2012-19/02/2012. Kasia and Laura are very kind, helpful, and passionate to help provide as much information and helps to everyone in need. Somehow this hostel has a great atmosphere than others; may possibly because of the people in there, the staff and guests, makes it even more cheerful. If I could, I really would like to stay longer, or re-visit someday!! Plus the bread for breakfast is the best I had for the last 2 months in Argentina!!

One of the best hostels I've been to in South America! Great staff who know everything you need to know about the area with maps, so there's no need for the tourist info office. Lovely fresh bread for breakfast made the night before & the cereal was a nice touch! Great vibe about the place & nice big kitchen to cook for a change! I had a problem with a tour operator & the hostel pretty much sorted the whole thing for me... They couldn't be any more helpful really!

Nice hostel with good kitchen and close to Esquel centre. There were about 5 staff members for every guest, meaning that in the evenings the kitchen was hogged by what seemed like two dozen staff (when the hostel might have needed 4). Totally overstaffed but good nonetheless.
