Fantastic experience at Casa Del Pueblo. Our bus arrived super late at night, but Santiago was waiting for us at the reception and checked us in without any problem. The hostel is a rather eclectic maze of hallways, rooms, and decor. It's charming and comfortable. We ended up getting rained out of our activities so we cozied up on the downstairs couches and used the wifi to watch Netflix all afternoon. Everyone was super friendly and the kitchen was always bubbling with activity. Great place!!

We had a great time in Casa del Pueblo. The staff were really welcoming and full of useful information about the surrounding area and helped us plan our day in Los Alerces. The 10 bed dorm didn't feel too cramped as they can do and the kitchen had quite a lot of space for a lot of people. The garden is a lovely space to chill!
We were the only ones at the hostel during our stay. Very homey atmosphere and relaxing. Rooms were nice. We arrived very early at around 7am and was told beforehand that there might not be anyone to open the door . luckily this didn't happen, but we were denied breakfast because we only get breakfast the morning after check in. I understand the policy but this has never happened at any other hostel before so I was a bit confused. We left early the next morning so never got breakfast.
Great hostel. Stayed three nights but we could easily have stayed longer. Great atmosphere in the commonroom and kitchen. The Staff is very helpful. And the kitchen is really great compared to other hostels around the World. Would definitely come back.
Would never stay there again. Completly dirty place... Dust everywhere; Dogs allowed to go anywhere, even on sofa. The bathrooms had so many hair that you can build a cousin itt, just like Adams Family. Water is hot only if you are the only person taking shower. In different days there were people that were not guests... and were freely using the common areas. Kitchen is open only unitl 23h for guests, except for staff. Awfull.
