Great location in Ipanema by restaurants and bars. Facilities were good, though the triple bunk beds make it a bit cramped. The owner was very nice and helpful, but the rest of the staff was hit or miss and it wasn't an overly social atmosphere with other guests.

2/3 of the staff we met were very unfriendly. The room we had booked did not match our expectations according to the pictures we'd seen online. There were insects (smal worms) in our beds. The recepiton was untidy and messy. I would NOT recomend anyone booking this place.

Great location, helpful staff and clean bathrooms. Not a social atmosphere but that was no problem. Good breakfast.

very expensive for the overall quality. No cleaning of the rooms. Approximative breakfast. The staff is ... trying to grab some money to you through very basic services. Don't ask them for a taxi, they call their friends (fake taxi and expensive trip). I do not recommand this hotel at all. Hopefully, Rio is Rio

The staff is pleasant but they double booked our private room months before our arrival. Instead of contacting us they created a solution for us to stay in our booked room one night and for me to sleep on the couch in the common room while my wife slept in the mixed dorm. They let us know about the double booking and their "solution" as we were paying for the room. We stayed one night and then went elsewhere, cheaper and better. I tried to contact the owner but received no response.

I had a disability and the staff handled it very well. thanks to Cynthia.for helping me out. Rooms were small for bunk beds three levels, Breakfast facilities adequate good selection of things to eat. Rooms cleaned every Friday to avoid any bedbugs
