Good location and staff, but some rooms are a real let-down. Beds are uncomfortable, rooms damp and with poor decor.

Casa Esmeralda is a guesthouse in the heart of the old Palermo in Buenos Aires. It is a house with a beautiful and peaceful garden right in the middle of the trendiest area of the city.
It is within walking distance from the world famous nightlife of Buenos Aires. Restaurants, bars and clubs are all nearby, while also are places for you to tango!
On the other hand Casa Esmeralda offers the possibility to relax and enjoy the tranquillity of its spacious garden, sunny terraces and friendly common spaces (bar, living and kitchen).
The guesthouse provides a variety of different resting options, from shared dorms (5 and 6 people) to double or single rooms, with or without bathroom. The best thing is they are all at very affordable prices and include a generous breakfast.
Finally it is important to say that it is a place for travellers made by travellers, with multilingual staff, who love to travel and love their city, ready and willing to give all the help and advice for you to enjoy this fabulous city.
